«On behalf of the entire GES Schools’ Network family, I am pleased to introduce our Network, and to offer my vision for our six different institutions. The GES Schools’ Network was founded in response to society’s needs. The observation and analysis of both the French education system and its job market set forward the need of a specialized higher Education curriculum combined with a hands-on experience, in order to gain practical knowledge in a specific area of business for a rapid occupational integration. The six institutions that make up the GES Schools’ Network, have made a major committment to academic excellence and practical skill development. Another of our commitments is to shape lifelong learning leaders who can discover innovative and yet ethical solutions in ever-changing business conditions nationally and internationally. As part of its strategic plan, GES Schools’ Network has widened opportunities in its various programs, such as international studies, internships and students trainings. For that purpose, the GES Schools’ Network has considerably developed its links with the business world, to offer its students the opportunities to work with businesses while studying (practicum, market studies and surveys, specific missions, product innovation etc.). Indeed, our graduates are working across the world in a wide range of management careers in many different industries. Our thirty-year experience in higher education in business management has enabled us to meet these challenges with success. I am honored to work with our faculty and staff, helping our students to embark on their own journeys. Welcome to the GES Schools’ Network! » Jonathan AZOULAY, General Director

Mission and Pedagogy Mission Statement

The different institutions within the GES Schools’ Network have a common mission: to educate Undergraduates for careers in Management, and to take Graduate students, practitioners and executives to the next level in their career path, by delivering a truly international, practical and rigorous learning experience. This Mission is achieved through the provision of vigorous teaching, learning and research activities that advances business theories and practices. Our efforts underline a partnership of students, faculty, the business community and the wider academic community. We seek and value the support and counsel of our alumni and the wider business community. We aspire to be an effective and caring organisation for our community. Whilst our Mission is to shape Managers by developing management and strong technical skills (including those related to new technologies) we emphasize cultural, human and economic issues to enable a better understanding of the globalized environment that we are in. Our pedagogical approach focuses on students’ learning needs. Teaching is consistently related with the practices and needs of businesses. To achieve these goals, the GES Schools’ Network implements the following:

the co-op education system allows our students to closely stay in contact with corporations; with the help of the research center, students conduct research applied to their specialization in partnership with companies. This research, supervised by professionals, leads on to projects or case studies; each school has its own Scientific Board for the Schools’ Improvement (consisting of CEOs, COOs, Managers and Experts). The board meets once a year to counsel on defining the programs and strategies for the coming year. Thus, they provide a constant link with businesses’ short and long-term needs.
