FEED GAS SYSTEMS AND ACCESSORIES
To get higher concentrations of ozone and minimize gas consumption, GE Osmonics ozone generators will use oxygen as a feed gas. The volume of oxygen required is dependant upon the volume of ozone desired and is directly proportional to the feed flow of air. These OP systems are designed on feed gas volume. Generators can be fed straight oxygen or select an oxygen concentration system from this section. All oxygen concentrators use PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorbtion) to produce oxygen from a pressurized air source.

OZONE GENERATORS
GE Osmonics E-series ozone generators utilize a power supply which will accept a range of electrical voltages at a frequency of 50 or 60 HZ. The HC generators listed below are for the specified voltages at 60 HZ only. HC generators that operate at other voltages and/or 50 HZ can be special ordered from GE Osmonics. Ozone generators need to have a pressurized, clean, dry (-80° F (-62° C) dewpoint) source of oxygen or air depending on the model. Percent output concentrations range from 512%. Model EO3-MINI SYS

PUMP AND EDUCTOR SYSTEMS
Eductor Systems GE Osmonics ozone contacting systems are designed to introduce ozone into a process water stream. Model ES-BAS and ES-DLX are used in slip stream applications for process water applications and direct contact for waste stream and/or difficult water applications. These units are sized according to gas flow rate of output, and therefore, should be sized to the application, not the specific model of generator. All skids use a stainless steel pump and stainless steel piping.

OZONE INSTRUMENTS
GE Osmonics ozone generators have manual and automatic control interface capability. Output can be set manually by adjusting the air flow with the inlet air valve and incremental adjustment of power at the control pad for the desired volume and weight percent. At constant air flow, output can be controlled by dissolved ozone concentration. Pricing for flow monitors and ozone concentration monitors is below. Monitors can be directly intrerfaced with the HC-Series generator with no additional hardware. The E-series generator requires a REMAC or combination of dissolved ozone measurement and 4-20 mA PID controller. Dissolved Ozone Monitors Model

NOTES: 1. Ozone sensor with electrochemical cell - Economical electrochemical-sensor type device which offers a means of providing an alarm feature in the event that high background (ambient) ozone levels are encountered. The sensor will provide a visual alarm as well as a signal to the generator to allow shut down of the ozone generator in the event of a catastrophic failure or leak. In addition, it also provides some reasonable level of monitoring/recording ambient ozone levels in the workplace. 2. Ultraviolet Absorption-based Ambient Ozone Monitor with programmable alarms and interface capabilities - This type of monitor is considered the industry standard with respect to the most reliable means of measuring ozone as suggested by the International Ozone Association (IOA), OSHA and the EPA. It is a more sophisticated monitor that actually draws an ambient air sample (using an internal sampling pump) across a UV absorption devise and translates the result (using the proven Beers-Lambert equation) into the equivalent parts per million of ozone levels in the air. The monitor offers field programmable alarm set points and up to 4 separate alarm output signals. This allows warning signals prior to shut down alarm signals. Remote recording and display of the ozone readings and alarms are also available. 3. Orbisphere Ozone System and Analyzer - The price on these units includes: Wall mount ozone instrument, all PEEK sensor, standard 10 wire sensor cable, and recharge kit. In addition, the Model 3660 comes with Windows software and an RS232 communications cable. CFO- Custom Factory Order, contact GE Osmonics. Part Number not available at time of print.

OFF GAS DESTRUCT
Numerous government regulations regulate worker contact to ambient ozone. GE Osmonics ozone generators have alarm interface capabilty with ambient ozone detectors for operator safety. Ozone off-gas can also be destroyed with a catalytic destruct unit. These destruct units include a vacuum pull through blower assembly to draw air through the destruct unit. Model

1 cubic foot is approximately 7.48 gallons. Therefore, to calculate what size destruct unit is needed… Volume of Air capacity (CFM) = Maximum fill rate of tank (GPM) X 0.1336806 This is a rough estimation and should be considered along with other information, especially in larger systems.
