SPECIALIZING IN ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENTS

The Firm

Fulcrum Investment Group, LLC is a New York City-based integrated alternative investment firm with global reach. Fulcrum specializes in strategic marketing, innovative product development, tailored client servicing and reporting, and business risk consulting. The firm provides a traditional investment management platform that allows managers to focus on their comparative advantage, managing portfolios. Fulcrum is committed to providing the highest level of service while affording managers access to a globally diversified spectrum of investors. Fulcrum Investment Group, LLC was founded in January 2003 by John Morris, a leading figure in the alternative investment industry for over 10 years. With almost 20 years of combined industry experience, having raised over US$1 Billion of assets, the Fulcrum team assists its clients in making informed strategic decisions in the alternative investment industry. Fulcrum has built a strong global network of long-term relationships with a diversified investor base.

3

Guiding Propositions Fulcrum’s approach to the alternative investment business is shaped by a few strong propositions: ¾

The growing institutionalization of the industry means that managers who adopt a more traditional investment management business structure are better placed to compete for capital.

¾

Hedge Fund Managers are typically independent people who want to control their own destiny.

¾

Managers should concentrate on their comparative advantage (i.e. making money).

¾

Fulcrum should concentrate on its comparative advantages (i.e. raising capital and managing the client servicing process).

¾

Firm equity should be preserved to retain good talent over the long run.

¾

Client diversification is as important as portfolio diversification.

¾

Long term relationships are a more efficient (and enjoyable) way to do business.

¾

Seek to negotiate a deal that both parties will like tomorrow and in ten years time.

Manager Services

Alternative Investment Services Fulcrum’s mission is to provide a customized integrated business platform that allows managers to focus solely on their comparative advantage, managing portfolio risk. The firm designs and develops tailored marketing programs that best represent the manager to the investors and to the market. Fulcrum’s hedge fund manager relationships are goal oriented, transparent, interactive, continuous and supportive. Fulcrum views each manager as a business partner. Capital Acquisition and client service capabilities are an important part of our value added. This is underpinned by the firm's traditional commitment to work only with superior hedge fund managers who are committed to investor education and the highest standards and ethics in the alternative investment marketplace. Fulcrum’s alternative investment services for managers include:

6

Manager Services Capital Acquisition Fulcrum’s focus on capital acquisition includes the development of strategic marketing and product placement platforms, tailored to co-exist and grow with each manager’s existing business platform. Fulcrum’s goal is to provide managers with superior and integrated “out-sourced” marketing and client servicing capabilities. While these functions are similar to those of conventional external marketers or consultants, Fulcrum offers managers an involved, highly personal and transparent approach to marketing. Fulcrum focuses on an extremely limited number of managers. We are therefore able to better service our clients. Given our strategic focus, we necessarily concentrate on “best-of-breed” managers in each asset class. Fulcrum analyzes organizations, business plans, as well as performance analysis, to better understand the risk involved. By so doing we glean a thorough understanding of managers and the likelihood of long term success in their asset classes. Fulcrum is thereby uniquely able to appropriately represent various products in the global market place to several investor segments.
