There is a free airport shuttle service available year round, running every fifteen minutes (from 1:00am to 5:00 am service is available upon request by using the intercom located at every shuttle stop). It connects the airport, the car parks managed by Aeroporti di Roma and the Cargo City area.

TRAIN From Fiumicino airport, quickly reach the centre of Rome by Trenitalia rail services From the train station, located inside the airport close to the arrival and departure Terminal 4, you can reach the city centre with plenty of frequent connections:

The Leonardo Express, non-stop service devoted exclusively to airport passengers, to/from Roma Termini Station with departures every 30 minutes and a journey time of 31 minutes. Ticket price: 14.00 Euro (first class/one way).

The FL1 rail line regional trains to/from other stations in Rome, including Rome Tiburtina Station, with departures every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 on public holidays. The journey time to/from Tiburtina Station is 46 minutes.Ticket price for Tiburtina Station: 8.00 Euro (second class/one way).

You can buy the tickets on sales point (newsagents, tobacconist, etc...) or on the ticket office in the station.

The buses of the line are in front of Terminal 2 in the Arrivals area. Follow the sign saying"Regional Bus Station" to reach them. Where is the stop in Rome: - Piazza dei Cinquecento (Rome Termini Station) - Rome Tiburtina Station - Cornelia Station of Line A of the underground - Eur-Magliana station of Line B of the underground. Information about the service: You can buy the tickets on sales point (newsagents, tobacconist, etc...) or on the bus (with surcharge). The journey takes approximately one hour. The buses of the line are at the BUS stop concentration adjacent to the exits from Terminal 3 – Arrivals, bus stall n. 3. Follow the sign saying " Bus Station " to reach them. Where the bus stop is in Rome Termini Station, (via Marsala)

TAXI At Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5 of "Leonardo da Vinci" airport there is available a taxi service to Rome city center. The fares for the service are: FIXED FARES (PER JOURNEY AND NOT PER PASSENGER): From Fiumicino Airport to within the Aurelian Walls (see the following map where the Aurelian Walls area is in yellow) and vice versa: € 48.00 From Fiumicino Airport to Tiburtina Station and vice versa: € 55.00 Fixed fares are inclusive of all extra charges.All fares above-quoted are fixed by the City of Rome and they could be changed without advance notice. For more information, please check the City of Rome web site . The baggage is included, for a maximum of four passengers.

The cars for the taxi service of the City of Rome are white and can be recognized by the sign "TAXI" on the car top and by the identifying license number on the doors, on the back and inside the car. ATTENTION: any other vehicle at the airport exit could be driven by people without a regular authorization of the taxi or of the rent service and the fee required could be superior or however different from the fee foreseen by Comune di Roma. We advise you to be suspicious of people, inside the airport, who propose transport services towards the city.

FROM CIAMPINO AIRPORT TO&FROM ROME

TRAIN The nearest railway station to the Ciampino airport is Ciampino Città, connected to the airport by the buses COTRAL/SCHIAFFINI every 30 minutes. The bus stop is near the exit. The traveling time is about 5 minutes. Tickets, sold by authorized personnel on the bus and at the station, cost 1.00 euro (one way).

A surface light rail system connects Ciampino railway station to Rome Termini Station in about 15 minutes and the ticket cost is 1.50 euro (one way).

BUS Rome Ciampino airport can be reached by means of different bus lines. Daily connections between the airport and Roma Termini Station are guaranteed by the bus services operated by: ATRAL COTRAL SIT TERRAVISION SCHIAFFINI
