Message from the President, Wayne Capper Welcome to our club, the South West Warriors inaugural home game and Foundation Day for the 2010 season. We would like to thank all parents, players, volunteers and visitors for showing their support in attending this monumentous day. It has been a long hard road to get to where we are today but it has finally arrived, and all people involved with the club are as excited as ever to get our home games under way. So let the games begin. Firstly I would like to acknowledge all who have contributed to getting this club up and running, and with out all your support our vision would not have been reality. I would also like to thank our fabulous sponsors that have come on board, sponsors are vital part of a clubs success and we are fortunate to have positive sponsors that see the same vision as we do. Please use our sponsors business as they have put a lot into creating our club, we as a club look forward to our future with our sponsors and thank them immensely. As you would see we have a lot planned for the day, so enjoy what is to come. We have a jumping castle, face painting, kids clinic and games for all the young ones and also have stalls and entertainment for all adults to enjoy. There is plenty of food available along with a Maori hangi which all will love. We would also like to acknowledge the Joondalup Giants for being part of our special day, the Joondalup Giants Rugby League Club have been great supporters of our involvement in the WARL competition and have helped us along the way with any information needed. Support like this is not forgotten and we hope you enjoy your stay in the South West. All the best for the season Joondalup. I look forward to seeing our Under 16's in action, we have some great talent in the team. With a bit more training and knowledge of the game I can see our young guns being a force in the future. The ladies have been improving week by week and continuously turn up to have some fun, they have been instrumental in helping this club grow and I look forward to them playing on there home soil. The men's started of with a hiss and a roar winning 5 on the trot, then have been put back to reality winning just 1 out of the last 4 games. Now on there home turf they will be looking at getting there season back on track, keep it going boys. I hope all enjoy there day, don't forget "WHO ARE WE SOUTH WEST, WHAT ARE WE WARRIORS" Wayne Capper– President.
