GENERAL INFORMATION: 1. Cost:  $200 per team 2. Tournament Date:  Saturday, July 23rd : U-8 to U14  Saturday, July 23rd: High School Division, Gold and Silver Division 3. Registration online at Broncosports.com/camps  Can pay online with Credit Card or ACH Check. 4. Team manager/coach will need to register team online and submit payment.  Team check in, Friday, July 22nd. Manager will be responsible for submitting roster, each players consent form and proof of medical insurance. 5. Deadlines  Final Registration and Payment Deadline- July 18th.  No refunds will be given after July 18th. 6. Schedules:  Schedules will be posted online and emailed out on July 20th by 6:00pm.  Teams listed first on the schedule will be the HOME (light jersey) team. Please be sure to bring both light and dark jerseys. 7. Location: Boise State Boas Soccer and Tennis Complex: 1507 S. Oakland Ave. 8. Contact Tournament Director: Maite Zabala. [email protected] 9. Each Team will get a minimum of three (3) games. However, at the Tournament Director’s discretion, the number of games may be increased, and the tournament is not liable for any expenses and no refunds for the tournament application fees will be given. There will also be a semi/final match per age group (see more details under “Tournament Structure”). 10. No items, including raffle tickets, flyers, posting, and advertising may be sold or distributed at tournament location. 11. There are no pets allowed at Boas Soccer and Tennis Complex or any type of alcoholic beverage. Team benches, chairs, and/or food are allowed.

REGISTERING ONLINE: Manager or coach will need to register team online or can mail in registration and payment. - Manager will need to create a team account per team. After the account is created, you are able to add players to roster (8 maximum). Spot is reserved once payment has been submitted. You may also turn in hard copy forms of consent forms after registering team and submitting payment online. ***Please note that you may not use the same e-mail address to create multiple team accounts, one e-mail per online registration. ***

TEAM CHECK-IN: 1. Teams will be able to check-in Friday July 22nd, 2016 from 12:00pm-6:00pm at the Boas Soccer & Tennis Complex; located at 1507 S. Oakland Ave. Teams may also check in Saturday, July 23rd between 7:00am-9:00am; it must be at least 30 minutes prior to teams first game time. Check in will take place at competition site. 2. Teams need to submit all Consent Forms and Proof of Insurance for each player before they may participate. Consent/Medical form can be found online (broncosports.com/camps). Forms can also be faxed or e-mailed. Fax # 208-3344598 or e-mailed to [email protected] Will accept copies of medical cards or can show actual medical card at check-in. If all materials have been turned in prior to the check-in date, there is no need to come to check-in. 3. Full payment & Informed Consent Agreements MANDATORY for participation. TOURNAMENT LOCATION: 

- Exit airport and turn right to get on I-84 E; travel 1 exit to Exit 54- S. Broadway Ave. 0.6 mi / 2 min - Turn Left onto S Broadway Ave and take it to W Boise Ave. Look for Garfield Elementary School on the right corner of W. Boise Ave. 2.5 mi / 4 min - Turn left onto W Boise Ave. Travel through Euclid Ave. and Howe St. 0.4 mi - Left onto W Highland St 0.2 mi At the end of the road you will see Boas Soccer Indoor Tennis Facilities.

TOURNAMENT RULES: 1. Field size approx. 40 yards x 30 yards, 2. Goalkeeper box, penalty box 8 yards. 3. Duration of games: two 10-minute halves, 2-minute half time, no overtime period  Teams will switch ends at half  Running clock 4. Four (4) field players and One (1) goalkeeper, on the field at time 5. Eight (8) Player maximum on roster. Can only participate on one roster/team. 6. Each team will be on the honor system regarding player maximum. 7. Shin guards, soccer cleats (outdoor), and proper attire required 8. Ball over sidelines will result in kick-in  Will be treated as an indirect kick (cannot score directly off kick-in) 9. All free kicks, goal kicks, corner kicks and kick-ins are indirect 10. Goal kicks are to be taken anywhere in the penalty box. 11. All restarts are indirect, defense must give 5 yards 12. NO off side 13. NO slide tackling 14. Free substitution and on the fly from midfield. Player “A” must be off before player “B” enters. 15. All other FIFA rules apply. 16. Every game must start on time. Time begins, whether the teams are ready or not, at the indicated start time Goalkeeper Rules 1. When the keeper has the ball in possession with their hands, all throws, punts and drop kicks must bounce before the midfield line (indirect kick at midfield for violation). 2. The six second rule and pass back rule will apply. 3. If the GK decides to put the ball on the ground and play with their feet, the distribution rule does not apply; however, the GK can be challenged and is not allowed to pick up the ball again unless the ball is touched by an attacking player (indirect kick for violation).

FIELD AND GAME MANAGEMENT: Each field will have an official score keeper and one (1) referee. Immediately preceding each match, coaches will need to sign official score card with final match score It is the responsibility of the Score keeper to deliver the completed and signed score card to the appropriate tournament official promptly at the conclusion of each game. In case of a discrepancy, the game report will be decided by the referee. They have the final say.

CONDUCT: Players, coaches, and spectators are expected to conduct themselves within the spirit of the Laws of The Game as well as the letter of the Laws of The Game. Displays of temper or dissent are cause for removal from the game and the surrounding field area. Repeated violations may result in the dismissal of the team from the tournament as decided by the Tournament Director.

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE: GROUP PLAY Each team will play a minimum of 3 (preliminary) games. At the end of the preliminary rounds, the flight winner will be the team with the most points in their flight. In the event of a tie within a flight, the tie breaking criteria will be applied (below). Semi-Final and Championship Games In case of 1 flight divisions, the top 2 teams will go directly to a championship game. In the case of 2 flight divisions, top two teams from each will bracket will compete in a semifinal match, the winners of the games will compete in the championship match. In the case of 3 flight divisions, the winning team from each bracket will qualify, and the best 2nd place team (highest 2nd place points) will compete in a semi-final match. In case of 4 flight divisions, top teams will qualify. Semi-Final and Championship Games ending in a tie will go directly to best-of 3 penalty kick shootout.

SCORING: 5

Win = 3 points Tie = 1 points Loss = 0 points Most points in group play determines group winner In the event of a tie, the tie breaking criteria A through E below will be applied sequentially to determine the winner. A. Head to Head competition. This will only apply when all teams that are tied have played one another. B. Goal differential of all games C. Total goals D. Least goals against E. Penalty kicks

FAILURE TO SHOW AND FORFEITS: 

Games will start at the schedules times. If teams arrive 10 minutes or more late, the result will end in a forfeit. The team that is the cause for termination of a game, that team will be considered to have forfeited that game. The determination as to which team is the cause for termination shall be at the sole discretion of the referee on the field and the decision may not be protested. Winning team will be awarded a maximum number of points.

INCLEMENT WEATHER : 

In the event of inclement weather or field conditions, the Tournament Director will have the authority to: A. Change the start time of any game (s). B. Change the duration of any game(s). C. Relocate or reschedule any game (s)

ADDITIONAL SERVICES: Boise State Concessions will be open and available during the event. Soccer Etc – Boise’s own soccer store will have an on-site presence at the event providing all manner of soccer gear, apparel and equipment.

PARKING: Participants and spectators will park in the Boas Soccer and Tennis Complex parking lot; back parking lot available as well. Street parking is available but will be have to abide all traffic laws. 6

Speed limit in the parking lots is 5mph. Please watch out for children and others when driving through the parking lots. No overnight parking will be permitted.
