Goal: Community-wide programs that are hosted in Flourish! Harris can satisfy one or more homework or assignment requirement(s) for one of our partner courses (see above). This incentivizes the residents to attend educational opportunities in the residence halls and also provides an experiential outlet in a group setting to apply content being learned in the classroom. o Support needed: Faculty members that are willing to partner with the Flourish! Harris Residence Life leadership team (Complex Director, live-in graduate fellow, and senior/lead resident advisors and flourishing assistant) to create in-hall experiential opportunities. The Flourish! Harris Leadership team will review the course syllabus and identify possible areas to create in-hall experiential opportunities. The faculty member(s) will provide insight and direction regarding the creation of the opportunity. Flourish! Harris Leadership team and Residence Life will fund the in-hall experiential opportunities.

3

Goal: Provide and fund a weekend or day retreat with a faculty member to apply or further discuss something being taught in the classroom. A possible example includes funding a trip for a group of 7-10 students to have a weekend retreat in the Georgia Mountains to discuss happiness and life with a faculty member. o Support needed: Faculty members that are willing to partner with the Flourish! Harris Residence Life leadership team (Complex Director, live-in graduate fellow, and senior/lead resident advisors and flourishing assistant) to create off-campus experiential opportunities. The Flourish! Harris Leadership team will review the course syllabus and identify possible areas to create off-campus experiential opportunities and request funding from the Director of Residence Life and/or The Division of Campus Life. The faculty member(s) will provide insight and direction regarding the creation of the opportunity.
