Introduction The Mercury range of radiators from The Electric Heating Company are specially designed to provide fast and economical heat when used in conjunction with electric and conventional boilers. An Aluminium outercase conceals an internal copper pipe heat exchanger which transfers heat to the radiator culminating in a high performance and energy saving heater Each radiator comes with an in-built thermostat valve body that is controlled by the TRV supplied The mercury radiators can be installed as part of an Electric Wet central heating System and as such such we recommend our award winning fusion boiler

2.

Storage_______________________________________ Mercury radiators should be stored in their original packaging in an upright position in an area free from changing enviromental conditions such as damp and frost.

Lift the radiator onto the brackets, engaging the brackets’ spring-loaded hooks into the top of the radiato

Ensure that the radiator is perpendicular to the brackets. See Diagram below

CORRECT

INCORRECT

Incorrect positioning of the radiator with respect to the spring clip on the bracket may lead to radiator damage

5.

Fitting Radiator - Mounting

Radiator should be mounted horizontally only

4. Once the is hooked on to the top of the bracket rotate the radiator towards the mounting surface slowly. Once the radiator is vertical and touching the bottom edge of the mounting bracket, lift the raditor slighly so that bottom edge clicks on the bottom edge of the mounting bracket. Repeat this for the other bracket

________________________________________________________________________________________________

5. Screw heater vent in. 6. If it is necessary to remove the radiator lift the radiator vertically until the bottom edge clears the bottom of the mounting bracket.. Rotate away from brackets (approx 15 degs) then lift off the spring clips on the top of the bracket
