ERASMUS+ GRANT •

When allocated a study abroad through the Erasmus+ program you are automatically nominated by your Faculty



The size of the grant will depend on destination and length of stay



Expected amount is EUR 200-250 (DKK 1.500-1.800) per 30 days



You may get an extra grant, if you participate in a language course and the length of the stay therefore is prolonged (up to 1 month)

NORDPLUS/NORDLYS GRANT •

When allocated a study abroad through the Nordplus/Nordlys program you are automatically nominated by your Faculty The size of the grants will depend on length of stay and the individual Nordplus networks Nordplus: Media studies, history, biology, law, medicine etc..



Nordlys: university wide



Expected amount is EUR 150-200 (DKK 1.100-1.500) per month

FACULTY GRANT Arts travel grant: •

Available only to students who do not receive Erasmus/Nordplus/Nordlys grant



For a period of 3-10 months,



Europe 4.000 DKK, outside Europe 6.000 DKK

FACULTY GRANT Aarhus BSS Travel Grant: •

Available only to students who do not receive Erasmus/Nordplus/Nordlys grant



The grant is allocated after credit transfer/incorporation of courses



You are eligible for DKK 5,000 for a credit transfer of 25 ECTS and DKK 10,000 for a credit transfer of 30 ECTS



Deadlines for applying are May 1 and November 1



Freemovers, who receive Udlandsstipendium, are not eligible for the grant

There are no loop holes Thoroughness, honesty, personality and of course skills Make sure to give an impression of who you are Make sure to be remembered Simple – clear – sobert  You ARE great (grades, recommendations etc.) You show that you are great (CV, personal statement) You explain the purpose of your application Short and simple – for ”dummies”

The Money Winning Application  Formalities  You have got all ”facts” right and have researched the  particular grant  Only apply for the grants suitable for what you are doing (purpose and profile)  Grant/foundation name, address etc.

 Hand in application on time – make sure to meet the  deadline!  The application should look ”nice”  Polite towards secretariat, board etc.
