Welcome Odense Skating club welcomes you to our summer camp. The camp is divided into two five day periods. The first period is from July 17th 2013 to July 21st 2013, and the second period is from July 23rd 2013 to July 27th 2013.

Camp Training The camp fee includes two ice practices for each group (advanced, lower level beginners), and one dance/ballet class and off-ice practice per day. Private lessons and making of new programs, is not included. Group practices on the ice will be provided by Alexey Vasilevskiy for advanced group and lower level. Alexey is a wellknown coach who has been working in a lot of summer camps in all over Europe. During those practices skaters will be working on their skating skills, edges, presentation, spins and jumps. Skaters will be able to have snacks, lunch and dinner, and drinks at the ice rink in between the sessions. Beginners group will be having two practices on ice with coach and off ice activities with our instructors. Parents will be able to leave kids from 7.30 in the morning up to 13.30 – the kids will be provided with snacks and lunch. List with the names in each group and the schedule of practices will be sent shortly after the deadline for entry.

Private lessons/ Making of programs There is possibility of private lessons with your own coach or with one of our coaches. The fee for private lesson is 10 euros for entry on the ice plus 30 euros for a coach for 45 minutes session. Schedule of private lessons will be sent shortly after the deadline for entry.

Registration Fee Registration fee is EUR 30 which must be paid to our bank account by May 1st 2013. Please state the name of the skater when paying. The registration fee is non-refundable. Account information is given below.

Camp Fee Camp fee is EUR 320 per 5 day period, which must be paid to our bank account by June 1st 2013. Please state the name of the skater and skating skills level, when paying camp fee. The camp fee includes practices and meals at the skating rink, and accommodation at the school.

Skating Rink The ice stadium was built in 1999, and the complex also consists of a training rink and VIP facilities. The skating rink is situated 3.5 km from the town square of Odense.

Transportation Public buses are going from the train station to the skating rink on a regular basis. City bikes can be rented near the train station or town square. You must bring your own sleeping mattress, sleeping bag and linen. The school is 800 meters (10 minutes’ walk) from the skating rink. The family to the skater can stay there as well . Skaters who cannot take care of themselves must bring an adult along for the camp.

Meals Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the VIP facilities connected to the ice rink. All food is home cooked meals. Hot dinner is served evenings. For lunch both hot and cold dishes, will be served. Meals are healthy and salad will be served for both lunch and supper. Beverages are included with the meals. Families of skater’s can buy their meals as well at the skating rink.

Facilities In addition to serving meals, the VIP facilities are used for showing movies, and for various activities for accompanying family members etc.

Refunds Registration is binding. The fee will only be returned, if a skater cannot attend for a valid reason, such as injury (doctor’s certificate needed). Cancellation must be done before the start of the camp.

Responsibility Skaters must be insured themselves. We do not take responsibility for injuries, lost property etc., sustained during the camp.

Coaches The practices will be conducted by the following coaches.

Alexey Fedoseev Alexey is currently head coach of Odense Skating Club in Denmark. He competed for the Russian national team 19932000. He was two-time silver medallist at Russian junior championships, and has results in several international competitions. He also performed in Holiday on Ice. Alexey has given many camps around Europe over the past years. Alexey speaks Russian, Polish and English.

Anna Rechnio-Fiedosiejew Anna is currently head coach of Odense Skating Club in Denmark. She competed for the Polish national team 19922000. She has also competed in European Championships, World Championship, and two Olympic Games. She placed 5th in the 1998 World Championships and reached 10th place at Olympics in Lillehammer 1994. Anna has participated at several shows across the world, and has coached at several skate camps in Europe. She speaks Polish, Russian and English.

Alexey Vasilevskiy As a figure skater Alexey finished in the top ten at the Russian championships six times and participated in many international competitions. As a coach he has led skate camps and summer schools of best Czech representatives organized both by the Czech Figure Skating Association and Mr.Stanislav Zidek. Trainings are led on the ice and in conditional or special preparations off-ice. He has created as a choreographer several programs. He cooperates on the preparation of competitors in the Sport Figure Skating Centre of Youth in Ostrava from which there were medal winners and winners of the Czech Figure Skating Championships 2005 and 2008. Alexey speaks Russian and English.
