IV. CNC System—HPA8000 G4020MF is equipped with HPA8000, which consists of PC control system, drive,
servo motor, etc. HPA is a joint venture by Han’s Laser and Power Automation from Germany. Compared with other standard CNC system, HPA CNC system is open and can be customized, it is specialized and professional for laser cutting. HPA8000 has hundreds of cutting features, some are listed as follows

CNC based on true open structure (including core of CNC) allows the users to safely and reliably integrate other professional technologies and specific software (C++ programs). When the users are using the HPA8000 CNC technology having standard PC bus (ISA and PCI) and operating system, the PC hardware and software of other
companies can also be well utilized. 5 High speed processing ○
A high speed CNC laser cutter requires extremely short program segment cycle time (7200 program segments/second for HPA) as well as special control algorithm and communication function. The “adaptive pre-reading function” will pre-process programs of 2500 program segments on real time basis, and calculate the maximum feed rate within the range of programming parameters and limits to meet the requirement of complex processing. 6 High control precision ○

4.2
HPA 8000 cutting feature
1. Sheet material surface height tracking control (follow-up function): Follow-up function is integrated in CNC system HPA8000. With highly precise servo motor and high-end sensor, the cutting head will detect sheet surface height and adjust the Z axis. 2. Laser power ramp control: Laser power ramp control is integrated in CNC system HPA8000,During acceleration and deceleration of the CNC laser cutter, the system can adjust the laser power ramp according to the time and speed to make sure off cutting effect 3. Self-adaptive feed forward “ART” regulation technology: With Self-adaptive function, HPA8000 CNC system is totally compitable with servo motors with minimum servo lag error and highest position accuracy 4. Rollback function: If the machine stops due to failure, with rollback function, the machine can restart to cut the sheet from where it stops again to make sure no waste of raw material 5. Breakpoint return function: If cutting is not finished and some spare parts need to be repaired or replaced, with breakpoint return function, the cutting head will return to the breakpoint and
restarted cutting. 6. Automatic frame-finding function: After loading the sheet in any position of the machine tool, clicking the auto-boder button,the system will detect the accurate position of the sheet. 7. Height sensor automatic calibration function: Manual height sensor calibration requires high skills. with automatic calibration, HPA8000 can rapidly calibrate the height sensor automatically. 8. Change to pulsing at corner cutting control function: There is usually over heat issue when cutting sharp corner of a thin to medium carbon steel sheet. With change to pulsing at corner cutting control function, the power, pulse frequency and pulse duty factor are changed for sharp corner cutting, and HPA8000 restores the previous control mode after passing the sharp corner. 10. Leader-line low start-up speed cutting function: In the fusion cutting of high temperature alloy sheets, there is often dross back splattering and sensor collision alarm, which will damage protective lens and focus lens. The leader-line low start-up speed cutting mode can easily solve this problem. 11. Other Functions:

V. Nesting Software The nesting software is CNCKAD software. CNCKAD automatic programming nesting software is a drawing programming nesting software specialized for CNC cutters. The major functions include CAD drawing, DXF/DWG optimization, interactive nesting, automatic programming, as well as cutting simulation validation and costing. The most outstanding functions of CNCKAD is interactive nesting, common cutting ,continuous cutting, and surplus steel sheet nesting, these are the core technology to realize full-time, efficient and high nesting rate cutting CNCKAD can manage the material preparation, including optimal calculation, CNC cutting, production management as well as financial and cost management, with the functions of automatic nesting, small piece filling, and big and small pieces nesting. DXF picture files can be converted to generate NC programs directly.
