OVERVIEW We have enhanced our Limited Time Offers to support our retail strategy of obtaining 8% revenue growth. The retail, marketing, culinary, and finance teams are committed to offering LTO recipes that include lower food cost ingredients, offer add-on components, increase volume allowances, and are aligned with our sales objectives. For the month of February there are 8 LTOs that should be implemented throughout the month. These LTOs will create higher margins and lead to greater sales and profitability. MARKETING TIMETABLE January 12: • Get your banner, poster, and table tent by the end of January: Reference the Additional Materials sheet to see what banners are offered for the month of February. The banners will be printed doublesided. If you’re in the auto-ship program, your banner will arrive by the end of January. If you aren’t, contact Garry Scott at [email protected]. The cost per banner is $45 and will be charged directly to your SAP. You can also order a poster for $20-$36 and a pack of 25 table tents for $37.50. ($1.50 per 2-sided table tent). Please allow 2–3 weeks for delivery. January 14: • Review the Recipes linked to the promotion. Offer the promotional recipe at the designated station every day throughout the month. • Check your inventory, schedule ingredient orders to be in sync with your menu plan January 20: • Review the ad campaign • Plan your e-mail campaign and intranet announcement to launch on the morning of the promotion’s first day and leave posted for a minimum of 2 weeks • Send the Electronic Postcard file to your client or the communications department to get it into the messaging mix on monitors around your hospital February 1: • Post flyers on department bulletin boards, in break rooms, and at the café entrance. With the client’s permission, they can also be placed in waiting rooms, lobbies, elevators, and other high traffic areas around the hospital. • Post the flat screen images on the digital menu boards throughout the café and/or hospital • Place the banner at the café entrance • Consider sampling your recipe of choice for customers to try and keep them coming back for more throughout the month Throughout February: • Use the branded counter topper template to remind your customers about the new menu features available for a limited time at point of service February 31: • Remove your marketing materials • Tally your sales, gather your thoughts, and log your comments in the Notes & Results section in “My Marketing Plan.” Before March 15: • COMPLETE SURVEY. The first step is how to identify the Webtrition recipe number to use. 1. Use your Manager’s Guide and go to the Menu Highlights page. 3. In the ‘Search’ field, click the radio button next to Item No. and type “mms-” and the number from your marketing material. Then click ‘Search’. a. For example, to find the Lemon Ice Box Cupcake, Webtrition recipe number 56475, you would type mms-56475.

HORIZON REGISTERS 4. Click Edit at the bottom of the screen to make changes that you need to make to the item, such as pricing and button color. Click Save and then click the appropriate sites to copy it to the site inventories where it will be used (i.e. Cafeteria, Coffee Shop, etc.).

5. Close out of the Menu Items screen to the Menu Planner screen.

HORIZON REGISTERS The final step is to place the item on a menu grid. 1. Choose the correct Menu Group at the bottom of the screen, and click Menu Grids.

2. Use the drop down on the right to find the correct menu grid that the item will be on.

HORIZON REGISTERS 3. In the Search section click the radio button next to Item No. and type in the Webtrition recipe number, such as 56475.

4. Click and the hold the menu item as you place it on the menu grid. Release the item and it should be on your grid.
