Fall Quarter 2016 Class Schedule NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY Effective September 20, 2016 through December 3, 2016

This is a shortened list of courses offered at Northwestern during Fall Quarter 2016.  Permission to visit these classes has been given by department chairs or school deans. The list below includes 100-, 200- and 300-level classes. 100-level courses are introductory, while 300-level courses are more advanced and specific. Although only the classes below have been approved for visitors, Northwestern's complete course offerings can be found online at http://www.registrar.northwestern.edu/courses/index.html#undergraduate_catalog. Please note that some departments don't offer specific classes due to small class size, laboratory safety, attendance procedures, etc. Contact information is given for the departments that have provided it. It is a good idea to have several class sections in mind because, in some instances, students may be taking exams or a class may not be meeting on a given day. Plan to arrive at least five minutes early and always introduce yourself to the professor so that he/she is aware that you are a visitor in the class. Please plan to stay for the entire class period. Please note: All class information is subject to change. For updated listings, check with the individual department prior to attending classes. Classes are also subject to cancellation or could be closed due to examination.
