Year I

Dear and esteemed colleagues, Here is Trill, newsletter by Faculty of Music in Belgrade. We launch it in order to note Faculty’s activities, activities of our professors, associates and students, to present and promote the meaning and place of the Faculty of Music within our cultural environment but beyond it as well. Newsletter is supposed to be issued three times a year (March, June, and December) in electronic form and to be available on web page www.fmu.bg.ac.rs for a wider audience. Within the newsletter there will be some permanent columns like: International Cooperation, Faculty of Music guests, Concerts and Performances, Serbian music at the concert halls, Word of music, New publications, Defended Thesis, Awards and Recognitions, New at the FoM Library etc. Since it is feasible to place some activities in several columns and as time passes by, need of some new column will most probably arise, your suggestions and comments are of a great value in order to improve the overall appearance, form and content of our newsletter.

Professor Slobodan Raicki solved the puzzle of the titlein one thrill. And this if how he did it: Trill of a sound pronunciation- prerequisite of the art of sounds Trill of heart- music is the language of emotions Trill of an ear in the moment of hearing Trill of an eye while reading the author’s message Trill of a mind in the spark of creation Music –Trills in eternity You are welcomed to regularly inform us about your activities because we believe that timely and enhanced public awareness of FoM work will be of a multiple significance for present generations of professors and students and for those yet to come to work or study at our Faculty.
