fulfilling the demanding market Your Reliable Partner The Indonesian Government has included garment and textile industries in the strategic sector to be developed. The reason is the increasing trend of the world consumption along with the increasing number of the world population, besides the trend of the global trade liberalization that would increasingly reduce trade barriers, which in turn would rapidly increase the world trade value in this sector. Another reason is the ability of Indonesian garment and textile industries in winning competition in the world market. It has been proven for many years that Indonesian garment and textile industries have been able to show its performance as a good and reliable supplier. In the meantime, the Indonesian Textile Association (API) has set a target until 2030 to continuously increase its export performance with a growth of 10% per year. To achieve the target, API will focus on certain development restructuring programs, among others: improvement of productivity and quality, especially the productivity of manpower, improvement of production system and management, efficiency in energy utilization, and carrying researches for creating new products with quality that could compete in international market.
