VERBS • Los verbos en inglés más importantes son: El verbo "to be", el verbo "to have", los verbos modales: "can, could, may, might, should, must, ought to" y los verbos auxiliares: "will" y "would".
COLORS
THE DATE • • •
• • • • • •
En inglés se utilizan los números ordinales (first, second, third, etc.) para expresar las fechas, a diferencia del español en que se emplean los números cardinales (uno, dos, tres, etc.). Today is the 2nd of June / hoy es el 2 de junio Para expresar los días utilizamos la preposición 'on'. En cambio, para expresar meses o años se utiliza la preposición 'in'. You came on the 12th of May / viniste el 12 de mayo You came in May / viniste en mayo You came in 1995 / viniste en 1995 En inglés, a diferencia del español, los meses y los días se escriben con mayúscula.

Study them as you come across them, rather than trying to memorize many at once. Use the list below as a reference guide when you find an expression that you don't recognize. The examples will help you understand the meanings. If you think of each phrasal verb as a separate verb with a specific meaning, you will be able to remember it more easily. Like many other verbs, phrasal verbs often have more than one meaning.

CONDITIONALS • Los "conditionales" son ciertas estructuras del inglés en las cuales, si cierta condición, situación o circunstancia es verdadera, entonces sucede un resultado específico. Aquí veremos varios tipos usuales de "condicionales"
CONDITIONAL TYPE 0 If clause

CONDITIONAL TYPE 1 • Se forma con if + simple present + simple future. Se emplea cuando una situación es real o posible: If it rains today, I'll stay at home. Aquí tienes algunos ejemplos traducidos. CONDITIONAL TYPE 2 • El segundo condicional tiene dos usos posibles: • 1 Se usa para hablar de cosas en un futuro que probablemente no serán reales, por ejemplo, deseos, sueños, etc. • Ejemplo:If I won the lottery, I would buy a big house in front of the beach.
