“Executive candidates from across the country commented on the University’s commitment to service. The EMSG staff led the recruitment from start to finish and helped distinguish the University through negotiations as we competed for the best candidates. We recommend the investment to enhance the University’s reputation.” - Nancy Rivers, Associate Vice President for Administration and Chief of Staff for University President “Our Executive Management Search Group was an absolutely integral player in the search for our new EVP/COO, without a doubt one of the most important searches conducted by the University in many years. The entire team was effective, efficient, responsive, and anticipated the many needs of the Search Committee and the candidates. They made my job as Chair of the Committee much easier, and I highly recommend their services for all critical searches”. - Carl Zeithaml, Dean, McIntire School of Business “The search process was seamless and the proof of their effectiveness is in the results. The leaders we recently hired with the help of EMSG staff are adding great value to the UVa Engineering School. When we look to hire our next top level faculty and staff members, we know that we have a trusted partner in EMSG.” - Jim Aylor, Dean, School of Engineering & Applied Science “The search was unique and challenging for all of us. It was also unusual to have a number of members from the Board of Visitors on the selection committee. Throughout the process they communicated with the committee on a regular basis, so we were aware of the progress … they responded to our needs and suggested creative approaches to enhance the process. I am pleased the University has an internal resource to assist hiring officials“ - Colette Sheehy, Vice President for Management and Budget

“Our recent experience with the "in house" search firm was rewarding. The staff were extreme professionals. They were knowledgeable and gave the Committee more then enough information on each candidate so we could make intelligent judgments … They treated each candidate's application or nomination with confidentiality… It was a very satisfying experience and outcome.”
