Conference
EStALI Experts Forum on 2-3 June & Autumn Conference in December 2016
EStALI events are the European leading platform to receive first-hand information and discuss the latest developments in the field of European State aid law.
OVERVIEw
Since 2003, private legal practitioners, economists, academics and industry representatives meet annually at the EStALI events and benefit from exchanging their views on the rules that guide the European State aid control. Twice a year, in Brussels and in another European capital, we expect to welcome delegates from all of the European Union’s 28 Member States – and beyond.
All our EStALI events combine two various formats: Workshop on Day 1 and Conference on Day 2. Due to this dual formula, the participants receive both a comprehensive overview on all most important State aid developments from high-level EU and national officials, and detailed insight into two highly topical State aid issues.
wORKSHOP
The intensive workshop on Day 1 gives participants an in-depth insight into currently debated State aid issues. The focus is on two highly topical issues, which are explored and discussed in a small group. This gives sufficient room for interaction, lively debates, and your personal questions.
COnFEREnCE
At the conference on Day 2 you can take advantage of a number of highly topical presentations from our renowned experts.Various practical case studies and Q&A sessions leave time for exchange and discussion with colleagues from several EU Member States – use this great networking opportunity!

By tailoring the course to the specific needs of Finance Wales plc it not only provided an opportunity to refresh participants' knowledge and understanding of State aid matters, it also engaged colleagues from across the organisation in discussing the impact of new State aid developments on the business. I would strongly recommend Lexxion for State aid trainings. (Judi Oates – Group Compliance Officer – Finance Wales plc)
THEMATIC SCOPE
’
The programme of your in-house training can cover all areas of EU State aid law and related topics. It can focus on the basics of State aid, on the most current developments as well as on the State aid rules which are of importance for your particular sector, e.g. R&D&I, environmental aid, regional aid etc. We also suggest including a session dedicated to the detailed analysis and advice on your problems and current cases.
