Event Sustainability Development Statement and Principles Statement of purpose This sustainable development statement serves the purpose of ensuring that the UNIPLAN Taiwan Group (hereinafter referred to as UNIPLAN Taiwan or“The Company”) complies closely with sustainable development principles while providing M.I.C.E integrated marketing, organizing exhibitions and in the planning, management, design and engineering of various M.I.C.E events. 1. About Uniplan Taiwan Founded in 1982, UNIPLAN Taiwan and its affiliates Indeed Marketing Communications Consultancy, Intercon Convention Management Consultancy, Event Platform magazine and Michael Tu Messe Bistro provide their clients with integrated marketing communication services. From front-end strategies to event planning, execution and management, UNIPLAN Taiwan provides comprehensive M.I.C.E marketing service. In 2013, the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, the first International Exhibition and Convention Center in South Taiwan, was taken over and has since been managed by Uniplan Taiwan. UNIPLAN Taiwan has introduced the ISO 20121 event sustainability management systems and strives to promote sustainability in every possible way from the social, environmental and economic perspectives while providing M.I.C.E integrated marketing and a comprehensive service that integrates the implementation, engineering, management and designs of exhibitions and events. 2. Statement scope and exclusion Scope:

MICE integrated marketing services, exhibition organizing, MICE related activities including planning management, design and construction.

Principles & values of sustainable development As UNIPLAN Taiwan provides M.I.C.E integrated marketing, organizes exhibitions and engages in the planning, management, design and engineering of various M.I.C.E events, UNIPLAN Taiwan will establish sustainability development principles and create values based on the following directions. Principles of sustainable development

The sustainable development principle of the ISO 20121 international standard is defined as “development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. UNIPLAN Taiwan will draw on every possible resource in event sustainability management to generate positive environmental, social and economic impact and boost the Company’s sustainable development results. We have the following sustainable development principles: compatibility, integrity, transparency, management responsibilities and passing on the influence: Compatibility Identify all stakeholders including senior managers, government agencies, clients, M.I.C.E organizers, sponsors, event goers, contract employees, suppliers, media, social groups, local communities and attendees and ensure that there are open channels for communication and consultation in place for them to fully express their opinions and that UNIPLAN Taiwan can provide the service they require. Integrity UNIPLAN Taiwan requires every member of the company to comply with rules and regulations regarding environmental protection, occupational safety and health, human rights protection, fire safety, traffic, food security, intellectual property, consumer protection and privacy protection. Meanwhile they should also provide service and work in the company in a professional, unbiased and honest manner. Transparency We provide information (such as contract employee work regulations and supplier contracts) to all stakeholders (including clients, participants, local communities and the general public) in a timely and honest manner. Management responsibilities Through training and promotion, the Company ensures that all stakeholders understand sustainable development and can therefore legally and effectively manage issues that generate a significant impact when the Company provides its services thereby building a sustainable supply chain. Passing on the influence By spreading the knowledge, changing its actions and committing goods and materials or financial resources, UNIPLAN Taiwan strives to have a long-term positive impact on

sustainable development for all of its stakeholders.

Event Sustainable Development Policy The afore-mentioned sustainable development statement, principles and the requirements of ISO 20121 event sustainability management systems serve as the sustainability guidelines as UNIPLAN Taiwan provides its services. This policy along with the principles of compatibility, integrity, transparency, management responsibilities and passing on the influence will maximize UNIPLAN Taiwan’s efforts in sustainable development.
