A Bovey Pottery pearl ware documentary jug of baluster form with strap handle enamelled in Pratt colours with a heart shaped panel to Silvester Treleavan, Moreton Hampstead, 1808 flanked by floral sprays beneath a simple foliate and loop and line border, 23cm high, some staining. £300 – 500 * The Treleavans are a well known Moretonhampstead family who ran the Post Office from 1799 till 1923. There were three Silvesters, two of whom were alive at the time this jug was produced. The younger of which kept a diary entitled Chronological Occurrences of Moretonhampstead. 523. An impressive Minton porcelain column/centrepiece modelled with square stepped base and pedestal enamelled front and verso with figures in a landscape, the flanks with bouquets of garden flowers, supporting a quadruple column surmounted by a pedestal bowl full of realistically modelled roses, passion flower, narcissus, chrysanthemum, tulips and other blooms the base and column applied with similar blooms on a simple gilt and turquoise foliate ground, 82cm high, circa. 1830-40, gilt foliate embellished firing crack under the base. £4000 - 6000 146
