Customs In Russia, there is a system of red and green customs channel in operation. This is a system which requires passengers to declare imported and exported goods. If the entry rules are violated (i.e. if undeclared currency or goods are detected), the passenger will receive a fine, the undeclared goods may be confiscated, and details of the passenger in question may be entered into a special database.

Export You are not required to declare export goods intended for personal use. However, any historical artefacts, art objects etc. must be included in a written declaration.
