Mill-Pro has a well-established track record in supplying major engineering projects in Australasia for more than 20 years. With our sourcing skills and systems developed over the last 5 years Mill-Pro has assembled a team of water works professionals across the Asia Pacific region with significant combined experience in Steel, Ductile Iron and Polyethylene pipe & fittings to deliver a complete technical & product pipeline solution to it’s clients. A major factor in Polyethylene is the low barrier to market entry due to the relatively low capital and operating costs to manufacture Polyethylene products.. This has resulted in many new manufacturers entering the market and established manufacturers switching to sourcing materials from low cost countries. Often such sourcing lacks proper risk assessment of the suppliers, resins and designs resulting in compromised product

Mill-Pro offers three basic pipe configurations with two resin alternates STANDARD pipe, manufactured from pre-compounded coloured PE100+ certified Bi-Modal resins from world leading suppliers such as Borouge, Borealis, SCG etc., providing slow crack growth resistance performance up to 1000Hrs. EXTREME pipe manufactured from pre-compounded coloured extreme slow crack growth resistant resins, providing up to 20,000Hrs slow crack growth resistance (ESCR) performance. These resins also provide resistance to failure caused by rock impingement or damage. They are ideal for applications where backfill material quality is poor or where risk of secondary excavation could leave pipes exposed to undesirable backfill, rock impingement or damage - (a common problem in congested service corridors in built up areas). Ranges of pre-compounded colours are available as a solid external jacket or as stripes to indicate water, wastewater, re-use water and gas.

Mill-Pro partners with ThaiAsia P.E. Pipe (TAP) for pipe & fabricated fittings.

Mill-Pro has introduced a world first for Polyethylene pipe: permanently marked QR codes on our PE pipes1 Mill-Pro has always provided traditional 1D bar codes on all our pipe & fittings for material traceability to ISO 12174, we have now introduced QR codes permanently marked on the pipe surface at 1m intervals in conjunction with standard pipe marking as an option.

TAP was established in 1984 and was a global pioneer in Polyethylene pipe, establishing a 1600 OD pipe extrusion line as early as 1996. TAP has 248,000m2 of world class manufacturing facility with an annual capacity of 40,000mt. Now manufacturing a full range of polyethylene pressure pipe from 20-2000mm OD along with matching fabricated and machined fittings.

These codes provide instant access to the MDR (Material Data Records) for the item being scanned. This provides not only the assurance that the products you have purchased are genuine Mill-Pro products, but also that products can be audited for pass results directly on site in real time. Mill-Pro has developed this unique permanent marking system for it’s PE pipes providing a UV, Damage & weather proof solution to pipe marking. Fittings have traceability and QR codes applied using a permanent adhesive sticker as these products should be sealed and protected from the weather until they are used on site. QR Codes can be read using any IOS or Android smart phone with a camera2. Typically devices require a 3rd party bar code scanner app. Mill-Pro recommends either NeoReader3 or QR Reader3.

Mill-Pro offers a complete PE 100 Polyethylene pipe range from 20mm to 2000mm in both straight pipe and coil from SDR7.4 (PN25) to SDR 41 (PN4). We can provide full product traceability on every metre of pipe with two rows of print at 120 Deg. of separation, permanently marked with bar coding to ISO 12176 for complete installation and operational traceability. Mill-Pipe is manufactured in accordance with EN 12201-2 / ISO 4427-2.

Pushfit Fittings OUR RANGE OF COMPRESSION FITTINGS

Pushfit fittings are quick and easy to use, with no nuts to loosen or leave undone. They are a ‘stab’ fitting, simply push the Polyethylene pipe fully home into the fitting to complete the joint. Designed for connections between 20mm to 63mm PE, they are available in joiners, bends, tee’s reducers, threaded ends etc. Pushfit fittings are rated* “Class 1” according to ISO 14236. The means the fitting is fully end-load bearing at test pressure. The pipe will not pull out of the fitting under tensile load (such as in ground movement conditions). Tensile resistance without pressure in the pipe is the hardest condition to achieve, as

typically in such mechanical compression fittings the internal pressure assists the fitting to grip the pipe resisting tensile loads. The gripping of the PE pipe and seal between the pipe and fitting increases with pressure and tensile load so the pipe will fail before the fitting lets go of the pipe or leaks. Benefits • Rapid & Reliable assembly on site, no loose parts to assemble or lose in

the trench

• Simple assembly in any weather conditions, up to 10 x faster assembly

than electro fusion joints and no cleanliness requirements on site

• Eliminates any risk of galvanic corrosion sometimes found between PE

transition couplers and valve materials especially in saline conditions
