THE SkillsUSA FRAMEWORK SUPPORTS A BALANCED PROGRAM SkillsUSA offers local, state and national opportunities in which students can demonstrate their personal, workplace and technical skills. These three components comprise the SkillsUSA Framework. This framework serves as the blueprint for career readiness. Paramount to the framework’s success is the creation and implementation of an effective program of work — SkillsUSA’s planning tool for chapters. How can I make our community service project a success while using the project as a learning experience for my students? The Champions Serving Others CD (Page 14) is an easy guide to community service projects and includes exercises that will help you create a learning environment for your students. The Discovery Sheets (Page 14) provide key discussion points so that students can present leadership information to their peers and gain additional experience. 3.
