Research Positions Mary Magdalene Project, Van Nuys, CA 2005 – 2007 Principal Researcher Conducted program evaluation for the Mary Magdalene Project Kester House, a transitional living program for women and families leaving lives of prostitution. Interviewed program board members, staff and program participants. will include a Developed “Best Practices” strategies for program development and evaluation of implementation. University of Colorado, Boulder, CO 2000 - 2002 Institute of Behavioral Sciences, Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence Research Assistant Developed and implemented tools for evaluation research studies. Projects include the “Pathways to Tolerance” program for the Anti-Defamation League, “Strengthening Multiethnic Families and Communities” program and “Creating Alternatives to Violence for Asian Youth” for the Asian Pacific Development Center and the “Blueprints” program with the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence. Boulder County Justice Center, Boulder, CO 2000 - 2002 Female Offenders Creating Unlimited Success Program (FOCUS) Principal Researcher Created assessment instruments to measure factors of success for gender-specific programming. Compiled statistics and conducted data analysis on behavioral, educational and attitudinal changes.

Pierce County Juvenile Court, Tacoma, WA 1997-1999 Principal Researcher Developed research study identifying recidivism crime rates among youth in custody. Investigated factors of juvenile offenders that impact delinquency and recidivist behaviors. Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, WA 1996-1997 Office of Career Development Principal Researcher Created survey instrument to track employment and entry-level salary trends of recent graduates. Information was gathered and organized to assist in the admissions and retention of students.
