to occupy a new 100,000-square-foot office building, located at 6111 W. Plano Parkway. The new construction began in September and will be completed by summer 2014. Presently, ReachLocal leases 60,000 square feet and employs 300 people with plans to create 600 jobs by 2018. ReachLocal was founded in 2004 to provide online marketing and transaction solutions that power local commerce for small business owners. Products and services include search advertising, social media and web marketing, retargeting advertising and video production.

RELOCATION AND EXPANSION
USAA is expanding its information technology operations center in Plano with plans to invest $31 million and create almost 500 jobs. USAA will occupy approximately 250,000 square feet in the Legacy business park in 2014, located at 5601 Legacy Drive and 7300 Parkwood Boulevard. USAA was founded in 1922 and is headquartered in San Antonio. “Texas has been our home for more than 90 years and we are very happy to be expanding in Plano,” USAA CEO Joe Robles said. USAA provides insurance, banking, investment and retirement products and services to nearly 10 million current and former members of the U.S. armed forces and their family members. Initially, the new jobs will be comprised of IT workers focusing on mobile application development, IT security and big data. Through the Texas Enterprise Fund, Texas provided $5 million in incentives while the city of Plano created its own incentive package for USAA to attract the company.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON FINANCIAL SERVICES RELOCATION AND EXPANSION Harley-Davidson Financial Services expanded their
National Customer Call Center, located at 1801 Alma Drive, and has increased its office space by 8,000 square feet. Leasing a total of 69,320 square feet, Harley-Davidson will add $1.3 million to the tax base in total improvements. Harley-Davidson Financial Services is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Harley-Davidson, Inc. and offers a variety of financial services and products to motorcycle enthusiasts and Harley-Davidson dealerships. Part of the Plano community since 2004, they employ 227 people and plan to add 43 new w Vehicle Brand of jobs by 2016. Harley-Davidson, Inc. began in 1903 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is an American motorcycle manufacturer. Harley-Davidson provides heavyweight motorcycles with customization options that paved the way for the popular chopper style of motorcycles.

(NPIC), manufacturer of healthy pet treats, opened a second manufacturing site, located at 3601 E. Plano Parkway. The expansion consists of 57,000 square feet and provides 45 new jobs. NPIC was founded in 1996 in Plano, Texas as a biodegradable company. By 1998, the N-Bone product line was introduced to provide chew bones and treats to dogs using biodegradable technology. Since then, the product line has included treats for cats and ferrets, sold under the brand names N-Bone®, Twistix® and Get Naked®. The manufacturing facility located in Plano has achieved Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) status. GMP is a set of guidelines that ensures the quality and safety of food testing and production.

loanDepot.com , the nation’s third largest independent mortgage lender, announced the opening of its new headquarters in the Legacy business park in June 2013. This location currently staffs 250 employees with plans to add a total of 1,000 jobs over the next three years. Established in 2010 in California, the new co-headquartered office will occupy 60,000 square feet at 5465 Legacy Drive. With a commitment to provide an efficient home buying experience and refinance processes for its customers, the expansion to Texas assists operational needs to support the company’s tremendous growth. Serving all 50 states, loanDepot employs 2,200 people and over 700 licensed loan officers.
Plano’s strong labor force and central location made it an ideal choice for loanDepot’s fourth location. “In less than four years, loanDepot has grown to become one of the largest independent retail mortgage lenders in the country,” loanDepot Founder and Chief Executive Officer Anthony Hsieh said. “The addition of our Plano office ensures that we have access to the key talent needed to deliver the competitive rates and high standard of service our customers deserve.”

corporation, expanded and relocated its Plano support office. Raising Cane’s purchased a 61,900-square-foot building located at 6800 Bishop Drive to expand its operations. Raising Cane’s initially leased a 24,000-square-foot office at 5800 Tennyson Parkway in 2009. Bringing only key administrative staff from Baton Rouge, the remaining positions were filled locally. Since moving to Plano, the office has grown to 120 employees and over 20 restaurants have been established throughout the Dallas area. After careful consideration, Plano was selected as the ideal location to support the company’s future growth plans. “I think Dallas is the best restaurant city in the country,” CEO Todd Graves said. Raising Cane’s was founded in 1996 by Todd Graves and has over 150 locations in 18 states. Within the next four years, Raising Cane’s plans on opening 250 restaurants and reaching $500 million in sales.

NTT Data Inc. , the world’s sixth largest IT services provider, announced the establishment of their new North American corporate headquarters at 5601 Granite Parkway. NTT Data moved from 7201 Bishop Drive to occupy 25,800 square feet at Granite Park with 45 employees. Plano’s diverse and talented workforce, coupled with a portfolio of IT companies, were key factors in the company’s site selection efforts. “Having a central location to most of our customers in North America so we can best serve them was also quite important,” said President and CEO John McCain. “We feel all of this helps us attract and retain top talent, which is vital to support our growth.” Founded in Japan in 1967, NTT Data, a subsidiary of NTT Group, serves as the technology arm of its parent company and employs 60,000 employees globally with $16 billion in revenues. Amongst its accomplishments, NTT Data serves 80% of Fortune 100 companies as part of the NTT Group, developed the world’s #1 web hotel booking engine and enables 20 billion securities trades each month.

and seventh campus buildings. This expansion represents a 220,000-square-foot office building, a 140,000-square-foot office building and a new parking garage. The campus, consisting of approximately one million square feet, houses its auto finance and mortgage divisions, as well as credit card and banking operations. Capital One now employs approximately 5,000 people in Plano. “Plano has accommodated the company at all levels,” Sanjiv Yajnik, President of the Financial Services division said. “It helped Capital One navigate the red tape as it grew and quickly responded to any needs as they arose.” The company currently occupies 70 acres of its 130 acre campus. Capital One was founded in 1988 in McLean, Virginia by Richard D. Fairbank and Nigel Morris. Since its inception, Capital One has grown to acquire over 45 million customer accounts and is one of the nation’s largest banks (based on deposits). With revenues exceeding $21 billion, Capital One employs nearly 36,000 employees nationwide. Capital One, N.A. has approximately 1,000 branch locations primarily in New York, New Jersey, Texas, Louisiana, Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Ericsson has opened an expansion of its North American headquarters
located at 6105 Tennyson Parkway in Legacy business park. The expansion consists of two phases. The first phase is complete, totaling 283,000 square feet and is served by two multi-level parking garages. Phase two is currently under development. The Plano campus originally housed 1,100 employees but with substantial growth in revenue in recent years, the new Plano campus employs nearly 4,500 employees. With a skilled and talented labor pool and a business-friendly atmosphere, Ericsson has been a part of the Plano community since 2001. “We are very proud to call North Texas home and the home of our headquarters in North America,” President and CEO Angel Ruiz said. “There are a couple of things North Texas has in common with Ericsson. Ericsson is a very global company with a lot of technology and innovation, and I think the North Texas area is known for similar things. There are a lot of high-tech companies in this area and that makes it easy for us to go out and recruit talent. It is also a great place to work and a great place to raise a family.” Ericsson’s global headquarters has been operating in Stockholm, Sweden since 1876. They are a world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and services to mobile and fixed network operators. With revenues of $34 billion and presence in 180 countries, Ericsson now employs 113,989 people worldwide.
