ESACT-UK is a society which promotes the communication of knowledge and experience between UK scientists and engineers whose work has a direct or indirect bearing on cell culture biotechnology and the products derived from it. A particular emphasis is to ensure both the inclusion, and the active participation, of less experienced scientists in industry or academic institutions. The committee at ESACT-UK are aware that without the support of the trade, the conference would not be able to take place.

There are many great sponsorship and exhibition opportunities available at the ESACT-UK 2012 conference, providing excellent possibilities for networking and communicating directly to a targeted group of delegates working in the cell culture biotechnology research area. ESACT-UK provides an informal and relaxed atmosphere to promote and highlight your products and services.

The 2012 conference will be held at the superb Imago conference centre in Loughborough at Holywell Park on 11th-12th January 2012. Holywell Park has an excellent central location. It is situated one mile from junction 23 of the M1, three miles from Loughborough's intercity railway station and eight miles from East Midlands Airport (please see www.welcometoimago.com/delegates for more details). Imago at Holywell Park Conference Centre is situated within the Sir Denis Rooke building which is recognisable by the bridge leading up to the entrance. There is a drop off point at the main entrance with a covered walk way and ample free-of-charge on-site car parking adjacent to the Sir Denis Rooke building. The trade exhibition will be held in the Holywell Babbage (Low Bay) area which will also be the venue for coffee breaks and the drinks reception. In addition the lunches will be in a buffet format within the trade exhibition area. Set up is from 9am 11th January 2012 and the exhibition will close mid-afternoon on the 12th January 2012.

To access the free broadband network in the breakout areas please ask at the main reception for a username and access code.

The exhibition will be held over two days of the conference – Wednesday 11th – Thursday 12th January 2012. Holywell Babbage (Low Bay) exhibition space is conveniently located on the ground floor with loading bay access for equipment delivery. Tea/coffee/soft drinks will be located within the exhibition area so all breaks and the wine reception will be taken around the exhibition stands. Lunches will also be in a buffet format within the trade exhibition area. Many exhibitor staff like to attend the conference presentations and the ESACT-UK society dinner. For this reason we offer a fully inclusive rate package for an exhibitor which includes the exhibition space plus one full delegate admission to the conference including conference catering and conference dinner.

Exhibition stand space (table top style with table approximately 1.5m long by 0.75m deep, provided with a 13A 240V electrical socket – please bring extension lead if multiple sockets are required).

Use of the lecture theatre room for running a workshop over lunch (workshop to be organised and run by your organisation).



Small exhibition stand space outside the lecture theatre to meet delegates as they leave the session before lunch and then go into the session after lunch.



At the end of the scientific session before lunch and the workshop the sponsor will be given a 2 minute presentation slot to promote the workshop to follow.

Cancellation In the event that any exhibitor or sponsor wishes to cancel, a full refund will be made if the request is made in writing and received by 30th September 2011. Cancellations after this date will result in a forfeiture of all fees paid. Insurance ESACT-UK is not responsible for the safety of any exhibit or other property of the exhibitor/sponsor or other person, or for the loss, damage or destruction by theft, or fire or any cause, or injury sustained by any exhibitor or other persons. Exhibitors/sponsors should secure their own insurance to cover all liabilities and risks. Accommodation Accommodation is not included in any of our packages and all sponsors / exhibitors are responsible for their own accommodation booking.
