Dunlop Sports Announces the New Cleveland Golf 588 RTX1 2.0 Series Wedge Latest Cleveland wedge, choice of the world's tour pros Dunlop Sports Co. Ltd. (Head office: Kobe, Japan; President: Yasushi Nojiri) is pleased to announce the release of the new 588 RTX 2.0 series wedge with advanced spin technology from Cleveland Golf, which continues receiving high evaluation in wedge market in the US and around the world. The new wedge series is scheduled for release on October 10, 2014 in Japan, and will be subject to open pricing. The 588 RTX 2.0 series line-up features two models: the 588 RTX 2.0, a blade-type design for mid to high-level golfers who value operability; and the 588 RTX 2.0 CB, a cavity-type design suitable for a wide range of golfers from average to advanced. Both are offered in either tour satin or black satin finishes. 56˚ and 58˚ are available in low bounce angle, standard bounce angle, and high bounce angle. Three different types of sole shape are also lined up based on each bounce angles. The new RTX 2.0 series provides golfers with a most appropriate wedge from 44 variations2 of head type according to playing style or player’s skill. I like the feel at swing through of this new model. Not only can I catch the ball steadily on the face, but also get more spin. It gives me the trajectory I want, and I can hit the ball by sweet spot automatically compared to previous model. This wedge is really useful for me.
