Jindex Products - Dry Powder Sampler Jindex Dry Powder Sampler has been specifically designed to sample pneumatically conveyed dry powders. Each sample cut produces 125 cm3 of dry powder, making this an ideal sampler to produce a shift or composite sample. This sampler has been successfully employed in the cement industry as an alternative to screw type samplers which are high maintenance. Jindex Products - Dry Powder Sampler Operation When activated, the sampler extends the poppet, which first clears the sampling chamber of any sample thereby allowing a fresh sample to collect in the sample chamber. After a short time the sampler retracts, extracting a fixed volume of sample and depositing it in the sample collector or sample bucket. Purging air can be connected to flush the sample out of the sampling chamber. A needle valve is adjusted to regulate the air pressure and prevent the sample being blown right out of the sample bucket.
