The Great Migration is the annual movement of millions of herbivores in search of fresh grazing. Explore the rolling plains of the savannah on foot, approaching Gazelles and Giraffe or even skirting a lazing pride of Lion. Meet the iconic Masai people and learn about the culture of these pastoralists during your luxury African safari in Kenya. Travel into the depths of one of the World's largest crater creating a microcosm of the safari experience. The crater has a lake which is one of the few places in East Africa you can see Hippo, and it is also home to many Pink Flamingos which form a blushing ring around the edge of the lake.

Day 1: Nairobi On the first morning of your Kenya Tanzania Premier Safari you will be met at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by one of our representatives and driven to a colonial style hotel in the centre of Nairobi. (Dinner Included)

Day 2: Amboseli National Park The next morning on your luxury African safari you'll be driven to Wilson Airport where you will board a chartered flight to Amboseli. Day 3: Amboseli National Park Spend the day exploring the Amboseli National Park on a morning game drive. Buffalo and Hippo are commonly seen in and around the central swamps. In the afternoon visit a traditional Maasai homestead. These people are pastoralists and are one of the most well-known tribes in Africa, famed for their red dress and jumping prowess. Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve In the morning today you will be driven to the airstrip and board a flight to the Masai Mara, travelling via Wilson Airport. After landing in the Mara, you will be driven to the camp. After lunch there will be some time to relax and settle in before heading out to explore one of the most iconic safari destinations in Africa on an afternoon game drive. Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve Spend the full day exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve. Set out on a guided walk in the morning and experience the thrill of approaching wildlife such as Zebra and Wildebeest on foot. Explore further afield while on game drives. The Mara is where the Great Migration reaches its climax during which over 2 million herbivores move restlessly in search of fresh grazing. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve In the morning you could enjoy an optional sunrise hot air balloon safari above the savannahs gazing down at Elephants, Wildebeest and Gazelles below before savouring breakfast out in the bush. Day 7: Arusha Enjoy a sunrise game drive where your guide will help decode the dramas that have played out in the night before savouring breakfast. Then you will be driven to the airstrip where you will board a chartered flight to Wilson Airport. From Wilson Airport you will board another flight to Kilimanjaro Airport from where you will be driven to your lodge in Arusha. (Full Board Meal Plan Included)

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater On this day of your luxury Kenyan safari package you will travel to another iconic East African safari destination - the Ngorongoro Crater. This extinct volcano has the largest crater in the World which forms a unique ecosystem which is home to over 30 000 large animals. You will have the afternoon at leisure to relax and explore the coffee estate. (Full Board Meal Plan Included)

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater Set out on a full day excursion down into the Ngorongoro Crater which is home to many Wildebeest, Gazelle and has one of the densest Lion populations on the planet. Hippo are rare in this part of Africa, but some live in the crater lake, as well as many pink Flamingos. The game drive will stop and you'll enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch in the crater before continuing the adventure. (Full Board Meal Plan Included)

Day 11: Serengeti National Park Spend this day of your luxury African safari exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti, the famed site of the Great Wildebeest Migration. Choose to do a game drive or a walking safari in the morning or an optional hot air balloon safari can be done. The Serengeti is considered to be a paradise by the Maasai who used to graze their cattle on the endless plains. It is home to thousands of herbivores, most notably Wildebeest. Day 12: Nairobi On the final morning of your Kenya & Tanzania Luxury Safari Holiday Package, enjoy one last early morning game drive through the Serengeti before breakfast after which you will be driven to the airstrip where you will fly to Kilimanjaro Airport where you will catch a flight to Nairobi.
