This summer will play host to the 11th Steiff Summer where fans, collectors and their whole families can enjoy a whole range of fun activities suitable for all ages revolving around the world of Steiff & friends.

Overview of our programme SUMMER PARTY | MASCOTS GATHERING The Steiff summer party on Saturday There’s so much to look forward to! Come and join us for a huge party featuring the Drum Stars, a party band, air ballons that light at night with the Hellenstein e. V. hot air balloon club, rounded off by an amazing musical fireworks display at sundown. Meet the mascots with Knopf the teddy bear and friend Frieda Knopf the teddy bear, star of the Steiff Museums and his friend Frieda are once again hosting the Meet the Mascots event at Giengen an der Brenz, Germany.

SOMMER MARKET | STEIFF MUSEUM | FACTORY OUTLET | STEIFF SALES TENT | STEIFF FLEA MARKET Sommer Market There’s a great summer market to look forward to, including artisan products, regional exhibitors and exciting kids’ promotions from partners of the Steiff Museum. Head to the STIHL stand to find out how a chainsaw can be used to cut animal figurines out of a block of wood. Steiff Museum & Factory Outlet The Steiff Museum team and the Factory Outlet team look forward to your visit! Delve into the fascinating world of Steiff and find out the amazing process by which Steiff stuffed animals are created. Steiff Sales tent & Steiff Flea Market As is tradition, bargain hunters will have the Steiff sales tent and flea market to look forward to. Lots of Steiff delights await!

Traditionally, the teddy bear workshop takes place between 1st – 2nd July. Let your imagination run wild and make your very own, individual teddy bear for relatives, friends or yourself – a truly unique specimen!

The 2016 Steiff Museum Bear was produced traditionally by hand using the finest grey alpaca and cotton. Each bear features a white, numbered flag in the ear and a gold ‘Button in the Ear’.

The Steiff teddy Bear Set consists of 2 beautiful teddies. Made from the finest white and turquoise mohair with matching claws and nose. The perfect pair! Both bears feature a golden ‘Button in Ear’ as a symbol of their exclusivity.

SALES EXCHANGE | VALUATIONS BIRTHPLACE | MOVABLE SHOW PIECES International Sales Exchange The Steiff Summer Party traditionally draws in dealers from across Europe and the US to present selected pieces, amazing replicas and antique Steiff rarities. Maybe you will find your childhood teddy! Steiff Valuations The Ladenburge Toy Auction company will be offering valuations on your Steiff treasures every 3 days in the Steiff Museum’s conference room. Birthplace The birth house of company founder, Margarete Steiff, will be exclusively opened for visitors to the 2016 Steiff summer party. Movable Steiff Show Pieces Head to the museum’s conference room and be amazed by the beautiful, movable show pieces from Steiff – always fascinating.
