CRAIN’S EXECEDGE This six month program, presented in partnership with Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, is designed to give mid-to senior-level managers the edge for executive leadership positions. Expand your ability to build relationships, innovate, drive strategic vision, and become an agile, high-impact leader with Lake Forest’s Business Leader Faculty®. Crain’s ExecEdge offers a next step for Leadership Academy graduates and high potential individuals. The program utilizes personal assessments, group coaching, and collaborative action projects to develop key attributes for agile leaders. Gain additional insights and growth opportunities from C-suite level and civic leader guest speakers and a social action project to give back to Chicago. Crain’s ExecEdge graduates earn a Certificate of Completion and credit for two courses toward a Lake Forest MBA after successfully completing the first course of the MBA program. High performers are nominated by their CEO to participate in this exclusive program for advancing professionals poised for leadership positions within their organizations. TARGET: Professionals with a minimum of 7 years business experience, and/or manage a team, and who are on the fast track for increased responsibility at any level of an organization. The class participants will represent a wide variety of industries as well as the non-profit and government sectors. CRAIN’S LAUNCH An intensive full-day program designed for new hires to discover individual strengths, interests, values and unique expertise aimed at accelerating their professional development. Participants will complete an impact and self-development plan and a mentorship strategy, as well as gain access to self-assessments, a powerful peer network and a framework for how to more fully engage at their organizations. TARGET: Young professionals with 1-5 years of experience and those who may be new to a department, role or team. SCHEDULE: Thursday, September 14, 8:30am – 5pm FEE: $1,200.
