COMPETITION RULES The competition will be carried out according to the UIPM Rules. Swimming: 50m outdoor swimming pool / 8 lanes Fencing: 9 pistes indoor / 1 piste outdoor Combined Event: 36+4 precision laser targets (Manufacturer: APEOM); grass surface, asphalt, sand.

TRANSPORT Transportation from Tegel (TXL) and Schönefeld (SXF) Airport to the official hotel and the return journey is only guaranteed if flight information is provided in the registration system in good time and prior to the deadline. Transportation from the official hotel to the venues for athletes will be according to the competition programme.

FINANCIAL CONDITIONS For delegations (athletes, coaches and officials) reserving the accommodation package, the prices are as follows:*  3 days or less: o 130 € for a double room per night per person o 150 € for a single room per night per person  4 days or more: o 110 € for a double room per night per person o 130 € for a single room per night per person This price includes full board accommodation, local transportation from/to the event and shuttle from/to Berlin Airports(TXL & SXF) Delegations wishing to arrange their own accommodation must pay an accreditation fee per participant (athlete, coach or official) to the LOC. The amount of the Accreditation fee is set at 80,00 € per day per person with a minimum payment of 4 days (320,00 €). For this, we will provide lunch packets for the competition days and allow access to official transportation between the competition hotel and competition sites.

By May 27, 2015, a non-refundable 30 percent deposit must be sent to the LOC after which you will receive an invoice for the remainder of the total cost for your delegation. The remaining 70% can be paid in cash upon arrival or bank transfer before the arrival. No full payment means no competition for the entire team!

As a reminder, if on arrival for the competition, the team has fewer athletes and/or officials than submitted in the registration system and without informing the Organising Nation/LOC at least 7 days prior to their arrival, the NF will pay a fine to the Organising Nation/LOC of 200 EUR for each person not attending.

DEADLINES Delegations are kindly reminded that the UIPM Online registration system is obligatory. The online system will be open from 10th of April 2015. All information must be submitted, including flight information, pistol serial numbers, accommodation bookings, etc. by 25 May 2015. Any changes after this must be sent by email to the organiser. Following closure of the registration system on 25 May 2015, a NF must enter the competition with the confirmed number of athletes and officials, only names of participants could be subject to change. Any failure to take part after having sent their final entries will pay a fine of 600 EUR to the UIPM. We would appreciate early confirmation of your intention to participate or not and submit this by email to before 04 May 2015. Deadlines are as follows: Participation Confirmation before 04 May 2015

Closure of Registration 25 May 2015 Deadline to send 30% deposit 27 May 2015 FULL PAYMENT upon arrival of the first team member If we do not receive complete information of your delegation prior to closure of the registration system or we do not receive your Delegation’s deposit payment, then we will consider your delegation as non-participating.

ATHLETES’ LICENSES Athletes are only allowed to participate in UIPM sanctioned events if they are in possession of a valid Athletes License. Registration is not possible without a License Number. If an athlete does not have a license they will not be allowed to take part in the competition. You are reminded of Rule 1.12.1 ii): Pentathletes without riding ability listed in the database and without a letter from their NF confirming their ability to ride may compete at World Cup competitions in the qualification for the Final, but if they qualify for the Final, must relinquish their place to the next placed pentathlete qualified rider from their group.

INSURANCE According to UIPM Rules all members of attending delegations should insure themselves in case of accidental injury or illness. The organizer will not accept any responsibility financial or other, for any loss, injury or illness of any member of the delegation.

VISAS & VACCINATIONS Visiting NFs should confirm visa and vaccination requirements for entry into Germany prior travelling to the event. The LOC cannot accept responsibility for arranging visas but can provide specific letters of invitation if needed. If you need a Visa to enter Germany please contact us at [email protected]. For information if you need a visa or vaccinations please contact your nearest Embassy or Consulate.

FIREARMS Firearms licenses are a legal requirement when bringing air and CO2 pistols (cylinders for the laser pistols) into Germany for competition purposes. So, please note the pistol model and serial number clearly in the registration system in order to make the necessary Entering and Exiting licenses.

GENERAL INFORMATION 

 

All athletes are kindly requested to wear their official national uniform at the competition. Please also bring a CD of your national anthem and a national flag (192 × 128cm). Weather conditions: +20º Celsius in June Voltage: 220 V
