History The Gnesins school was founded in 1895 by a family of musicians During the XX century it has expanded in a group of musical educational institutions which includes primary school, secondary school (College) and higher school (Institute, Academy since 1992)

Committee for Rewarding Scientific degrees

Academy`s Committee for Rewarding Scientific degrees was founded in the 1994, and since then hundreds of dissertations were defended. The Committee includes the faculty members from the Gnesins Academy, the Moscow State Conservatory, The State Research Institute of Arts.
