8. General common to both - Individual Tests and Exams for Teams

Dispute Kata - In case of a tie in contention for rating, competitors concerned should take an extra dispute (Sai-shiai) with same Kata. - Even if the additional dispute ends in a draw, the lowest note will be added as tiebreakers. -

Even if the tie persists, the highest score will be added tiebreaker.

- If the tie still persists, the competitors concerned shall perform additional extra dispute, running a different Kata.

Dispute Kumite - Any competitor who lost two disputes with faults / violations will be disqualified and unable to continue in Kumite competitions. - Each competitor must wear gloves and mouth guard (gloves should be approved by the Technical Committee of the South A American JKA). - Women´s Contestants must wear protective breasts.

10. Common matters to IX South American Championship for both Children and Youth as for Adult

A. NOTES: (1) All tests and disputes will be held under the rules and regulations of the JKA. (2) Dispute-Shiai Kumite conducted by South American JKA will Shobu Ippon-. Precise techniques (Waza) and Kime are necessary to every detail. (3) We call attention to the dispute Kumite Children and Youth, where the level of contact will be much more stringent than in the case of adults. (4) Even if there is more than one organization in a country, they are required to make a selection to decide who will be the contestants. (5) Any country that wants to participate in the IX South American Championship of Karate Shotokan JKA should be up to date with the payment of administrative and membership JKA / WF rates. (6) The medical officers of the tournament must be present and administer first aid. Doctors have the power to decide whether the injured contestant may continue or not competition. Any competitor who is obliged to withdraw from the competition for doctors, will be disqualified and can not play any other evidence. (7) All competitors, without exception, must submit with their own Kumite equipment, mandatory use: Red Gloves and White, Oral Shield, Shield Hernia (Die) and Chest Protector. It will not be authorized other gloves than the official. It is strictly prohibited loans such equipment among competitors, to prevent communicable diseases by blood and salivary secretion. (8) Each competitor must have their own health insurance, be aware of their personal liability and medical care available in the tournament. (9) Each country may register one (1) delegate and five (5) Technicians. Only the registered delegate may submit protests against the decision of the arbitrators. (10) The delegates will have the right to request the identity documents of the competitors to check the corresponding ages. In case of non-compliance with this requirement, participants and leaders may be sanctioned.

(11) All competitors must submit the signed disclaimer, and under 18 must present the same with parental permission. Failure to do so will result in disqualification document competitive in their participation in the tournament. The delegate from each country is responsible to deliver these documents to the Organizing Committee. (12) Each competitor must wear a white karate gi with the name / badge own on the left side of the chest. (13) The referees previously meet to any questions in the course of the event. (14) Referees: should be aware of JKA Regulation. All countries should be presented with a minimum of 5 judges, with the JKA uniform: blue jacket, gray trousers, white shirt, burgundy tie official JKA. (15) Minors and juvenile competitors may participate only in its corresponding category. Smaller competitors, youth who complete years on 12 and 13 September 2015, may opt for the former category. (16) Adult competition is 21 years or more. (17) teams in the first round must be present with all its members. (19) No amendment or inclusion of competitors will be admitted after registration after the closing date. (20) Competition keys will be aware of all the delegations, days before the event. (26) A subsidized rate of R$ 150,00 reais (per person will be charged) which is equivalent to US$50,00 per night with breakfast for two leader of each country. The accommodation will be at the Hotel Lumina. Places are limited, so we ask that you report the name of people to accomplish the reservation until 2015 July 30th. (27) 2 amenities for representatives of each country in the days: FRIDAY (11th), Saturday (12th) and Sunday (13th) in the headquarters hotel - LUMMINA HOTEL. is not foreseen in the planning.
