Paper Discussion Group Assignments 1. All papers have been assigned to a specific discussion round and small group (see following pages). Conference registrants will sign up for Friday's discussion groups on the first day of the conference (Thursday). On Friday morning registrants will receive printed abstracts of the two papers being discussed in each of the rounds they will attend so everyone should have time to review the abstracts prior to the discussions. 2. In each discussion group of 10-12 participants two papers will be presented and briefly summarized. The two paper presenters will have 15 minutes each to present the main ideas underlying their work. This time limit will facilitate a more interactive conversation among all participants. Please do not plan to use power point slides. We anticipate these will be highly interactive roundtable (or circle) discussions and not front-of-the-room presentations.
3. Unless you've told us otherwise, we have identified the lead author/contact as the person who will be discussing the paper, although co-authors can certainly sign-up to participate in that discussion session 4. Each discussion group will have a discussion host who will keep the conversation on track. 5. Through this process each conference attendee will have the opportunity to discuss six papers focused either on creating public value or measuring the creation of public value.
