Our efforts are focussed on the reduction of emissions and energy consumption and, with the same effort, we are committed to increasing the awareness of what we consider to be the most plausible ecosustainable choice: the use of porcelain stoneware tiles. The main characteristic of eco-friendly materials is the durability of a product in order to reduce the energy cost necessary to manufacture the product itself.

Sia il tappetino in gomma Silent che le fughe in PVC sono stati testati col metodo UL94 (metodo Underwriters Laboratories). A temperature molto elevate (superiori ai 200°C) anche il PVC può incendiarsi, ma la ridotta porzione di materiale esposto fa sì che gli effetti di questo incendio possano considerarsi trascurabili. In questo caso il PVC può emettere acido cloridrico (HCl) o monossido di carbonio (CO), a seconda dei casi. I livelli di tossicità delle due sostanze sono analoghi, con la differenza che mentre la presenza di HCl viene avvertita facilmente a causa dell’odore penetrante, il CO è totalmente inodore. Inoltre, la rapidità di dissoluzione in acqua dell’ HCl ne annulla la pericolosità in caso di attivazione degli impianti ad acqua polverizzata. L'azione corrosiva esercitata dall’acido sulle strutture in acciaio è in tutti i casi trascurabile, se paragonata ai danni del fuoco e dell'acqua. In the same way, the consequence of the effects of heat on PVC is also negligible in terms of gases and noxious fumes emitted, especially when we consider the high temperatures needed to start such a reaction, temperatures which, on their own, create an inhospitable environment for any living creature. The support structure comprised prefabricated load-bearing supports. These supports are made from polypropylene and are fixed, adjustable or self-levelling. They allow the finished floor to be installed at a height of 1.2 cm – over 60cm. The finishing strip, in all cases, can be installed dry even on sand or gravel foundations. The panel includes a footboard and comprises an upper covering in porcelain stoneware and a structural core. Si ottiene così un pavimento planare senza rischi di accumulo di acqua, mentre la parte impermeabile sottostante avrà tutte le pendenze necessarie per un buon allontanamento delle acque piovane. Il gres porcellanato Mirage garantisce inalterabilità ed un’ottima durata nel tempo, in qualunque condizione climatica. La struttura portante è composta da piedini in polipropilene, con base larga e bordi arrotondati per non danneggiare le guaine di isolamento. Questa soluzione permette l’ispezione degli elementi sottostanti al nuovo piano di calpestio ed un intervento rapido in caso di danneggiamento delle guaine di impermeabilizzazione, senza onerosi lavori di muratura.
