Senior Vice President Routes Transport Group Mr. Wallace Leads the executive team at Routes Transport Group in the Development of the Food Service Business Unit in North America . Bill Wallace has a broad history and experience both in the Transportation and the Cold Storage industry. Prior to joining Routes, Bill served as Director of Business Development and Vice President of Operations with major transportation and cold storage companies in Canada and the USA. He has spent over 35 years in the transportation and food industry. During which time he developed strong relationships and partnerships with business and government leaders across North America. Bill Wallace works with the major food chain suppliers in both Central and Western Canada. In addition, he assists American companies to bring their products to the Canadian Market. This is accomplished for both Canada and USA food product companies through a diversified program which brings together Transportation and Cold Storage suppliers to deliver solutions to the industry. Working with the North American industry over the past decade, Bill Wallace has addressed many formidable issues within the Food Chain system in Canada and the USA. The most prevalent challenge facing companies within the GTA and across Canada relate to the direct cost of transportation. Bill Wallace will address this issue as he solicits the support of the Economic Development Committee and then the full Toronto City Council for the project to be outlined today which is referred to as “ The Canadian Food Service !ssociation “ { CFS!| .
