TUESDAY, NOV. 24

TRAVEL DAY

4:30pm Load at School Board the charter coach with everything you will need for the trip. may also bring a blanket and pillow for comfort.

5:30pm Depart for Philly After school once the coaches are loaded, depart for the overnight ride to Philadelphia. Please bring a sack dinner to eat along the way. Rest stops and driver change will happen during the trip.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 25

HISTORIC SIGHTSEEING PHILLY

7:00am Breakfast Upon arrival in Philadelphia, stop for breakfast. to freshen up while at breakfast.

9:00am Philly Sightseeing Here is where a country was born. The buildings, the taverns, and the cobbled walks used by the Founders of America are, in great number, preserved for all to enjoy. Come and take a walking tour of the Historic District — the most Historic Mile in America.

12:00pm Lunch Enjoy Lunch in the area with money provided.

1:30pm Philadelphia Mint The Philadelphia United States Mint is open and free to the public. This is an optional visit this afternoon. This is located across the street from the National Constitution Center.

2:50pm National Constitution Center Located on Independence Mall in downtown Philadelphia, the National Constitution Center teaches values that are the foundations of freedom: the sovereignty of the people, the strength of diversity, the virtues of a civil society, the power of free expression, and of independent speaking. Learning how all of these are framed in the U.S. Constitution, and how citizens are responsible to protect them, is the focus of the center's mission, which it accomplishes effectively in modern fashion through more than 100 interactive and multimedia exhibits, photographs, sculptures, text, films and artifacts.

5:00pm Hotel Check In Once you arrive at your hotel, unload the luggage from underneath your charter coach. One person from each room may get the keys for your room from your Tour Director. After you have given your roommates their room keys, you may proceed to your room. Be sure to take your luggage and all of your personal items off the coach. 7:15am Depart for Parade

8:30am Philly Thanksgiving Day Parade This celebrated parade kicks off in the downtown area. Over ninety units participate, including talented bands from across the nation, colorful floats, various celebrities and several performing acts. TV cameras catch it all at the Philadelphia Art Museum. Fishers High School Band is the 76 unit There are over 150 units and 16 bands.

7:30am Load and Depart Board your coach and depart for the day!

8:30am NYC Sightseeing Capture the pace; feel the throb of a great city as local guides take you from Midtown to the Upper West Side to Harlem, Central Park, the Upper East Side, Lincoln Center, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Fifth Avenue and New York City’s colorful ethnic neighborhoods.

11:30am Lunch Enjoy Lunch in the area, money will be provided.

1:30pm 9/11 Memorial Experience the stories of both World Trade Center attacks (Feb. 25, 1993 & Sept. 11, 2001) at the 9/11 Tribute Center, close by the site. Exhibits, artifacts, film and the voices of those who experienced the events first-hand combine to convey the facts and emotions in a powerful, respectful way. Of particular interest, the final gallery gives information about the lasting effects of the 9/11 attack and plans for The National September 11th Memorial. Your Tour Directors will give instructions as to what time each coach/group will be entering the Museum. We have entrances at 1:30pm, 2:00pm and 2:30pm.
