Mission: It’s all about people

It’s all about people: • To Do List – Easy to lose our way • One of the things I love about Jesus is he never lost sight of why he did what he did. Jesus came to earth on a mission. For Jesus - It was all about people; it was because people matter to the Father.

It’s all about people: • Matthew 4:17-25, “From that time on Jesus began to preach, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.’ • The Kingdom is the reversal of everything that went wrong with the world. He wants us to repent of sin, so we can enter abundant life.

They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. ‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will send you out to fish for people.’ At once they left their nets and followed him.

It is easy to get about the busyness of life, working our jobs, doing our household duties, running errands, shuttling kids from event to event, and lose sight of the one thing that matters most: People. Jesus called them & us into relationship & onto mission.

News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases,

It was about restoring the quality of life that God intended before the fall. Jesus invites each of us to live on mission with Him.

It’s all about people: • Jesus was on a mission to make disciples because there is no one who should miss out on the Kingdom of Heaven.
