The advanced light engine that powers the Indy ChromaControl luminaire family is responsible for a new state-ofthe-art in LED performance. It employs broad-spectrum LED strings to produce exceptionally high color accuracy that renders illuminated objects in the best possible light. Offering a tunable range of color temperatures from 1650K to 4000K, (variable warm) or 2700K-6000K (variable cool), it delivers the highest CRI values in the industry. And with most R values in the 80's and 90's, the perceived color accuracy couldn’t be higher. ChromaControl CCT always located within 2-Step MacAdam Ellipse of the Black Body Locus. The CCT from ChromaControl LED technology is positioned exactly on the Black Body Locus for perfectly natural white light that is within 2-step MacAdam ellipse. y Locus Black Bod

The Color Rendering Index is the average of the R1-R8 values, however, this does not tell the whole story when it comes to color. Indy ChromaControl™ LED Technology optimizes color to deliver excellent rendering for all of the color values from R1 thru R15, rendering deeper saturation and skin colors more accurately. The LED module software adjusts the LED currents to maintain CRI values between 93-95, and deep red R9 values up to 86.

No longer limited to four or five CCT's to choose from • Now you can choose any color temperature between 6000K–2700K or 4000–1650K from a single fixture instead of being limited to just 4000K, 3500K, 3000K and 2700K. Without replacing the luminaire or the light engine, Indy ChromaControl LEDs let you change color temperatures in a matter of seconds … after installation! Just use the handheld remote control or ChromaControl App to select any color temperature setting from 1650K – 4000K (variable warm) or 2700K – 6000K (variable cool). Your new color temperature will be locked-in instantaneously less than 2 SDCM of the Black Body Locus. You can adjust color temperatures to complement colors in artwork, wall coverings, furniture, carpet or even adjust to the seasons and time of day. Set one luminaire with the remote, then copy-and-paste to the other luminaires in your environment for perfect fixture-to-fixture color consistency.

Give your colors a little boost … The ChromaControl Family lets you change color temperatures at the push of a button or change the color saturation and hue of a single luminaire or a group of luminaires in order to boost specific colors in a space. It’s all accomplished with a simple handheld remote device or iPhone App that provides total control of individual luminaires, and then allows you to “copy and paste” those settings to other Indy ChromaControl LED luminaires. Restaurants, hotels, boardrooms, executive offices, retail apparel and grocery … all stand to benefit from the exquisite effects and lighting performance made possible by this new technology.

Simple Control The Indy ChromaControl™ LED luminaires utilize a simple control system that allows the specifier to easily adjust and save the four major settings during the commissioning process: 1. Color Temperature (4000K-1650K) and (2700-6000K) for Tunable White 2. Saturation (0-100% saturation for Color Tuning) 3. Hue (any color in the chromaticity diagram for Color Tuning) 4. Dimming (not applicable if allowing end user dimming)

Delivering high-performance light and efficient operation The Indy ChromaControl LED luminaire is one of the most technologically advanced commercial luminaires available. Delivering up to 1500 lumens of brilliant, natural white light from as little as 36-watts input, it uses just one-fourth the energy of equivalent incandescent lighting. And with a rated service life of 50,000 hours, it offers years and years of maintenance-free operation. LEDs contain no toxic lead or mercury that can harm the environment and produce no damaging UV or IR emissions.

Optimal design for a directional source Indy ChromaControl™ LED luminaires are available with the innovative patent pending Indy hyperbolic reflector delivering up to 1,500 lumens. Breaking away from traditional designs, these reflectors are optimized for directional sources like LEDs. Due to the geometry of the hyperbolic curve, there is no source image in the reflector, which dramatically reduces aperture brightness. And multiple beam spreads from 16º to 73º produce uniform light distribution that feathers smoothly along the beam edges. Indy ChromaControl LED Technology luminaires are also available with standard parabolic reflectors for those who desire a more traditional look.
All good things come to an end LED lighting never actually burns out; rather, the light output gradually degrades over a very long time. As a result, it can be difficult to know when light levels have dropped below an acceptable level. Indy luminaires solve this problem by offering an optional Lumen Depreciation Indicator (LDI) that informs maintenance personnel when the delivered lumens have dropped to 70% of initial lumens. The light engine then can be quickly and easily replaced, restoring light output to original levels. This patented LDI technology is exclusive to Indy commercial luminaires.
