One thing I would like to say I that this examination was really good experience and I would love to do such things more. It was interesting and also challenging but fun at the same time Although there wasn't any specific preparation for the examination in terms of knowledge, I think that the investigations that we did during the class helped us answer the questions effectively in an organized manner
This was fun I really enjoy the questions on this examination, I thought they were interesting and help me to learn more and think reflectively on all of the questions that has been given, rather than memorizing facts. really enjoyed the experience, as I found it to be mentally challenging and stimulating. This exam included every skill of the MYP English criteria, all the questions were self-explanatory and the time was absolutely perfect for an English exam, as they took in mind that the student will write and then have time to revise. It was a good way of testing language abilities and the time stated for each activity was helpful.
The exam itself was very sophisticated and very well organized. I do think that taking the test on the computer is way easier. This examination was a good learning experience for what is to come in the future when we face the true exams in the following year. It stimulated our brain to be able to use previous knowledge and understanding for the sake of relating in school subjects to issues in our real world. This is an ability that I would forever using my everyday life.
Some comments from teachers The majority of our candidates had a wonderful experience in this well-design, user-friendly examination package...We think that this experience has already give them a taste of what Onscreen examination is... And most importantly, it has also offered teachers a better picture about the new MYP assessment...We think this is a very successful trial. The backwash effect would be of great significance
Some comments from teachers • overall the students and teachers are quite happy with these on-screen exams • the students, by the way, are enjoying the experience • The tasks itself were rich and cool; much more interactive and pleasing than any written text can ever be .
