INTRODUCTION

Dear all, After two amazing events in 2012 and 2013, it is time to continue the success with the Historic  Grand Prix 2014. The cooperation between HARC and CPZ proved to be a perfect match in  organizing one of the top historic events in Europe.  This years edition has an incredible 13 championships coming over to the circuit in the Dunes.  History will be repeated with beautiful Formula, Sports and GT cars. On Friday most of the  qualifications will be completed. Saturday and Sunday are totally packed with an amazing 23  races in total! Contained in this document information about the Historic Grand Prix 2014. Read this document  very thoroughly so there won’t be any surprises. And if you have any questions, please do not  hesitate to ask. Some wise word to begin with:  The cars we drive have few inherent safety features. Accidents not only  destroy originality but also put at risk the concessions under which we are  allowed to race. Racecar drivers are therefore required to drive in a sportsmanlike and considerate fashion, in particular avoiding contact and not indulging in aggressive driving tactics.

Free track exploration with road cars, 28th of August 2014 Because most of the championships have no free practice at the Historic  Grand Prix, all competitors are hereby offered to join the free track exploration  sessions on Thursday the 28th of August. To enter these sessions, please be aware of the following  rules: • • • • •

Grand Prix circuit layout, it is strictly forbidden to use the National corner or Clubs corner Maximum of 2 persons per car Only available for drivers of the Historic Grand Prix 2014 1 session per competitor Maximum 80 kph (checked by laserguns)

Routing • At the licence check / collection of documents in Paddock Office (parking C), there is one desk  especially for the track exploration wrist bands. • After showing your licence and signing the waiver of recourse you will receive a wristband that  allows you to enter the paddock and track with a road car. • You will receive a wrist band for 1 of the 3 session (3 different colours). • Your wristband will be checked when entering the paddock and when entering the track. • There will be a maximum of 70 cars per session. • All cars enter the track through box 0 at the beginning of the pit lane. • All cars leave the track through the gate at the Arie Luyendyk corner (last corner of the track  before the main straight)

Scrutineering See Timing. Make sure all relevant documents are with the car as well as the  drivers clothing conform to Appendix L FIA Sporting Code. The location of the  safety checks is different for every championship, see timing for locations. 

Drivers Briefing Mandatory! For time, see detailed time schedule. Location: Hospitality Unit Tarzan Corner, 1st floor  (hospitality gallery above garage 25).

Supplementary Regulations Will be send to the teams in a separate mail and will be in the drivers envelope at collection of  documents / licence control. 

Garages Only available for FIA Masters Historic Sports Car Championship, FIA Historic Formula 1  Championship and Group C / GTP Racing. Pit Garage allocation available at your championship  coordinator. 

Petrol and Diesel Available at the Tango Paddock, NO CASH, pin and Mastercard only. Special fuel for Masters Series  and Group C are available at Paddock 2 at Anglo American Oil Company.

Timekeeping Transponders are available at license check / collection of documents, Parking C, Paddock office (Parking next to BMW Driving Experience). Thursday 15:00 – 21:00 and Friday 07:30 – 09:00. € 50,‐ deposit.

Tickets All teams will receive the entry tickets in the drivers envelope at the collection  of documents / license control. Paddock Parking Tickets are only available  through your championship coordinator. Teams will not receive the Paddock Parking Tickets in their  envelope at licence check. Paddock Parkings are only available for support vehicles, no personal  cars are allowed on the paddock. 

High Voltage power High Voltage Power is only available on request through [email protected].  • 220v, 16 Amph € 0,‐ each day • 380v, 32 Amph € 75,‐ each day

Team tents and hospitalities Teams are allowed to break down their tents and hospitalities from Sunday the 31st of August   17:30 o’clock. All trailers, hospitalities and tents must be removed from the paddock on Monday  the 1st of September 10:30 o’clock.

Chopard stickers All competitors / race cars will receive 2 stickers from our sponsor Chopard. Touring cars must carry  the stickers on both doors, formula cars must carry the Chopard sticker on the nose of the car.  Stickers will be available at licence check / collection of documents. 

Paddock and arriving times Trucks and trailers over 3.30 meters must enter the paddock through  Parking C. Tucks and trailers under 3.30 meter can enter the paddock through  the main entrance. Note: NK GTTC and DRM Klassik‐Pokal trailers can all enter through the main  gate as they are located at Parking B. Arrival times:   Thursday the 28th of August: 09:00 – 17:00 and 19:00 – 22:00 o’clock. Please call Wim Euwen at 0031 6 23 88 49 70 or you Championship coordinator when you arrive to  guide you to your position on the paddock. See plans at the end of this document for your location. 

Only race cars on the paddock Only race cars are allowed on the paddocks. Personal cars can be parked at parking A (behind  Grand Stand). Car trailers must be moved from the paddock and can be parked at Parking C.  Competitors entering the paddock with a trailer need to pay a deposit of € 50,‐ on arrival. Refund  when trailer is parked at Parking C within 2 hours.

Grand Prix Parade to the center of Zandvoort 30‐08‐2014

The organization of the  Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort  invites all the drivers to  participate in the Grand Prix  Parade at Saturday the 30th of  August 2014. With this parade we go back  to the old days of Formula 1  when the cars would be  parked overnight in Zandvoort  town. In addition to the  parade there will be live music  and entertainment.  Line up at 19:00 o’clock on the  main straight of the circuit.  The parade will leave in  groups at 19:30 o’clock to the  center of Zandvoort. The  groups can go back to the  circuit from 20:30 onwards.  The cars will be parked in the  center of town which will be  closed to other traffic.  Participation is open to all  competitors of the Historic  Grand Prix Zandvoort with  their race cars.
