Cybro System

CyBro-2 is a high performance programmable logic controller. It is programmable with CyPro IDE software, which contain editor, compiler and online monitor. IEX is proprietary low level network based on CAN (Controller Area Network) bus protocol. It is designed to connect different expansion modules to CyBro-2 controller. A-bus high-level network is used to connect Cybro-2 controllers with Ethernet TCP/IP or serial RS-485 network standard to other CyBro-2 controllers or to touch screen panels and PC with SCADA tool.

Controller - system core block CyBro-2 controller is the core building block of automation system. CyBro-2 controller is equipped with CAN interface to connect IEX modules. In addition to this CyBro-2 controller may have local inputs, outputs and communication interfaces, with Ethernet being most important among them. Through Ethernet or serial connection, controller can be programmed, monitored, remotely updated and managed over any kind of physical media including Internet. Behavior of CyBro-2 controller is specify by program running in it.

Application generators and extensive libraries may reduce the need for programming, so most of the standard systems can be simply configured. On the other hand full system power is available to skilled programmers.

Low-level network (IEX) IEX is proprietary low level network based on CAN (Controller Area Network) bus protocol. IEX protocol uses all advantages (reliability, speed) of CAN bus to connect different expansion module to CyBro-2 controller. Expansion modules have unique network addresses and when they are connected, modules are detected automatically - so there is no need for DIP-switch addressing. IEX network is using short priorities messages, so the response is very quick. Logic is implemented as user program in central controller, modules are generally only remote I/O’s Modules: Wide range of IEX modules are available, covering every possible I/O unit (digital, analog, RTD, temperature, moisture, illumination, presence), communication protocols (RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, DSI, DALI, GSM, GPRS), operator panels (keypads, semi-graphics, touch screens, IR remote controller), dedicated high function modules (access control, inverter unit, RGB controller, fan-coil controller, hotel room controller, light controller, switch unit, park sensor module).

IEX network rules When IEX network is designed, a two critical features should be carefully considered: 1. Line length and network topology may affect network speed. Using default baudrate of 100kpbs, up to 100m may be considered safe. Longer lines should be properly terminated, and topology is restricted. 2. Wire resistance cause voltage drop on power supply lines. It depends of line length, wire diameter and supply current (determined by number and type of connected modules). Each module should have at least minimum supply voltage. If that is not the case, additional power supply modules should be added. Power supply should have enough power for all connected modules.

High-level network (A-bus) High-level network is used to connect CyBro-2 controllers into a one complex system. This compact and highly reliable protocol can be used with Ethernet TCP/IP or serial RS-485 network standard. A-bus is perfect low cost choice for connecting CyBro-2 controllers, touch screen panels and PC with SCADA tool. A-bus protocol is open protocol, so it can be used also in products from other vendors. ModBus protocol is used to establish master-slave communication between intelligent devices. Networking ETHERNET CONNECTION CyBro-2 may have a dynamic IP address obtained from DHCP server, or static IP address set with Kernel Maintenance. To define static address, turn off checkbox Use DHCP, and enter IP address, Subnet mask, Gateway, and DNS server. DNS server is needed when push to domain name is used, push to IP address needs no DNS. After power-on, static IP address is available immediately. Dynamic address needs 3-5 seconds to start in same network as last time, or 30-35 seconds in a new network. If DHCP server is not available, CyBro-2 will have no IP address (0.0.0.0). This connection provides programming and monitoring over the Internet. If router has no DynDNS support, install update client on a local PC. If firewall is active, allow outgoing traffic and open UDP port 8442 for incoming connections. When connection is made, remote operation is same as in a local network. This connection provides programming and monitoring over the Internet, using relay server as middle-point. Relay function is implemented in CybroRelay. ETHERNET SOCKETS Socket are used for CyBro-CyBro communication. User has to define a list of variables on both sides, and select mode of communication. On-request output socket may be used to send a single event to the network. Each controller may trigger the event, each one will receive the event, and the request will reset automatically. FREELY PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER CyBro-2 is a freely programmable PLC controller. CyPro is a development environment used for programming CyBro-2 controllers and uses EN 61131-3 based programming language. Using Ethernet, controller can be programmed, monitored, remotely updated and managed over any kind of physical media including Internet. NETWORK COMMUNICATIONS CyBro-2 controller can be connected through IEX bus to expansion modules. IEX is proprietary low level network based on CAN (Controller Area Network) bus protocol. LRM8114 MOTION SENSOR - Compact-design highly sensitive motion sensor. - Motion detector can be partly shaded to limit coverage. - Sensor is suitable for both recessed and surface mounting. - Mounting height is between 2.5m and 3.5m. - Sensor can be connected to CyBro automation system through LC-S, LC-D or LC-DC IEX modules. - DIP switches on the unit to enable/disable sensor elements. - LED indicator to indicate motion detection. - Powered directly from connected module.
