Accommodation Included in the tour price, you get the following accommodation You will spend seven nights cruising on the 3-star MV Esmeralda. Cabin accommodation is on two decks: main and promenade. There is a lounge with bar, restaurant and sun deck, and all of the cosy, functional twin-bedded cabins have picture windows, shower and toilet, colour T.V. and safety deposit box. The Esmeralda has a lift between the main deck and the promenade deck, and a stair lift between the promenade deck and the sun deck. Cabins - Accommodation is on two decks – main and promenade – and all of the functional, cosy cabins have picture windows, shower and toilet, T.V., safety deposit box and twin beds. Lounge/Bar - The Esmeralda has an inviting lounge where morning coffee and afternoon tea is offered each day. Restaurant - Enjoy the Esmeralda’s tasty cuisine in the ship’s comfortable restaurant. Your overnight stay in the Rhine or Moselle Valley will be in a 3-star standard hotel and city-style hotels will be used in the Regensburg area and Belgium

Day 1 Arrive London, and overnight at the Comfort Inn Victoria Station for 1 night

Day 2 Depart London Hotel, then travel onwards to Belgium for an overnight stay.

Day 3 Continue through Germany to the Regensburg area for an overnight stay. 

To Passau, picturesquely set where the Danube is joined by the Inn and Ilz rivers. Continue to Linz, where we board our cruise ship, the MV Esmeralda for our seven-night cruise. 

Day 5 - Danube Cruise to Vienna Cruise the Danube eastwards passing through the wine producing area of the Wachau. From the river you see Greinburg Castle and the ruins of Kunringer Castle. Early evening arrival in Vienna. 

Day 6 - Vienna Spend the whole day in Vienna where you can join our optional sightseeing tour. Cruise overnight to Budapest. 

Arrive in Budapest. We will meet our guide and enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city, by coach and on foot. We leave early evening to cruise towards Bratislava. 

Day 8 - Bratislava Morning cruising, then early afternoon arrival in the Slovakian capital. Join our optional guided tour by coach and on foot. 

Day 9 - Dürnstein We cruise to Dürnstein. It was here that Richard the Lionheart was kept captive, imprisoned in Castle Dürnstein. 

air-conditioning, shower & toilet, satellite TV, safe deposit box, twin beds and a continental electricity socket (220 volts).

Lounge /Bar The Esmeralda has a spacious and inviting lounge. The bar and lounge of the Esmeralda is completely renovated in the beginning of 2011. Morning coffee and afternoon tea is offered each day in the lounge.
