At TMJM, an important aspect of our programming is to assist your child in developing important values such as: good manners, caring, sharing, patience, responsibility, as well as communication and teamwork. We believe that children learn best through play, and we will implement these important values throughout our day. Temple Menorah Jewish Montessori includes weekly enrichment activities for all our students. We are also offering several new activities through our ever growing after school club program. Discipline Policy Dear Parents, We are required by the Department of Children and Families to provide parents with a written Discipline Policy. Please sign this form and return it to the school office. Our program will ensure that age-appropriate, constructive disciplinary practices are used for your child. This care will allow the child time to look over his or her behavior. We will encourage children to choose alternatives to improper behavior. To ensure a safe and successful program, discipline is a must. We welcome the ideas of parents, so feel free to share them with us. The following steps will be used for behavior modification: 1st: Children will be corrected and asked to change their behavior. 2nd: Children will be redirected from the situation. 3rd: Children will be placed in “Time Out”. 4th: Parents will be contacted if behavior is not corrected. 5th: Children shall not be subjected to discipline which is severe, humiliating, or frightening. 6th: Discipline shall not be associated with food, rest, or toileting. 7th: Spanking or any other form of physical punishment is prohibited. Extended Care (Due 1st day of the month with tuition payment) 3:00pm-4:00pm (Mon-Fri): $125/month or $10/day 3:00pm-5:00pm (Mon-Fri): $250/month or $20/day 3:00pm-6:00pm (Mon-Thurs): $400/month If you are not signed up for a monthly plan and will pick up your child AFTER 5:00pm, you will be charged an additional $25 for every 15 minutes after 5:00pm.

Payment Schedule For your convenience, we accept checks, cash, or online banking withdrawal. Our payment options are: One time, payment in full (Discount 3%) 10 monthly payments (August through May) Payments are due the 1st day of every month. Payments not received by the 10th of the month will be assessed a $25 late fee. Checks returned by the bank for any reason will be assessed a $35 fee. The first payment is due Monday, August 3, 2015 and may be mailed or hand delivered to the school office.
