Continuing Education Login Instructions army.swankhealth.com How do I register? Try to log in using these instructions. If you cannot log in, please contact your 68W State Program Manager. What courses are available? The courses and the NREMT categories they fulfill are listed in a flyer on the Learning Management System portal: army.swankhealth.com . Click the Combat Medic/HealthCare Specialist tab. Only the courses shown on this list have been approved by the Army EMS Program Management Office for sending completions to MODS. While your login provides access to other EMS courses in the LMS, MODS credit will be delayed for any courses not listed on the 68W Course List until the categories are approved. Are the courses accredited? Yes. EMS courses from Health.edu of Texas Tech Health Sciences Center are approved by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS). The course syllabus details the contact hours for each course. CE certificates display the approval number. What is the course format? The courses are a minimum of 50-minutes. You will have the option to play the video in various formats. In January 2015, CECBEMS required that the LMS play the video from beginning to end before the Test is completed. If you exit a course before viewing the video in its entirety, the content will bookmark your place. Is there a test? Yes, after viewing the video, a post-test will be required to earn CE with a passing grade of 80% or better. How are my completions reported to MODS? Completions are synchronized to the Medical Operational Data System (MODS) daily. Please refer to the MODS Requirements flyer for details. How do I get started?
