STRESS-FREE LUNCH FOR 8

Time Instructions (this is only a guide, see packaging for more detailed info) DEC 23RD -- Take your turkey out of the freezer, remove from the box, put on 10:00am

a plate/tray, cover and defrost in the fridge for 48hrs. -- Defrost your Gravy and Cranberry Sauce in the fridge overnight.

Y CHRISTMAS DA

10.45am -- Put the oven on: 170°C (fan) / 190°C (electric) / Gas 5. 11.00am -- Put turkey on a roasting tray in the oven, middle shelf, uncovered. 11.40am -- Cover the turkey with foil to prevent it browning too much.

12.50pm -- Get Pigs in Blankets from freezer and leave out for 10 mins. 13.00pm -- Put Pigs In Blankets onto a roasting tray and into the oven on the bottom shelf, alongside the Christmas Stuffing.

13.10pm -- Turkey comes out. Insert a skewer in the centre and check the

juices run clear (give it another 10 mins if not). Cover completely with foil to keep warm (it needs to rest before carving). -- Turn up oven to 190°C / 210°C / Gas mark 6. 13.20pm -- Drizzle some oil into a large roasting tin for your potatoes and pop it on the top shelf to heat for a few minutes. -- Empty your Honey-Glazed Carrots with Thyme and Parmesan Parsnips onto another deep baking tray, spreading out as thinly as possible and put in the oven on the middle shelf. -- Turn the sausages and check they arent browning too much. -- Take out the heated roasting tin, empty your Roast Potatoes onto it so they’re in a single layer and return to the top shelf of the oven.

13.45pm -- Decant Brussels Sprouts into a large saucepan with a splash of water,

cook over low heat stirring occasionally. -- Give the potatoes, parsnips and carrots a toss so they cook evenly. -- Decant Slow-Cooked Gravy sachets into a large pan and cook on a medium heat (reduce to a simmer when it starts to bubble).

13.55pm -- Remove everything except the potatoes from the oven and keep warm. Turn oven up to 220°C to crisp up the potatoes. -- Increase temperature on the sprouts for 5mins, stirring regularly. -- Microwave the Bread Sauce. 14:00pm -- Remove potatoes from the oven, carve the turkey and serve.

12.20pm -- Get Pigs in Blankets from freezer and leave out for 10 mins. 12.30pm -- Remove the foil from the turkey to let it brown.

-- Put your turkey (frozen) onto a baking tray, on the silicone paper provided, and place on the top shelf of the oven.

13.30pm -- Drizzle some oil into a roasting tin for your potatoes and pop it on the top shelf to heat for a few minutes.

-- Empty your Honey-Glazed Carrots with Thyme and Parmesan Parsnips onto a baking tray and place them onto the middle shelf of the oven. -- Take your pigs in blankets out of the freezer, transfer them onto a baking tray and leave them out on the side for 10 mins. -- Remove the heated roasting tin from the oven, empty your potatoes onto it and return it to the top shelf next to the turkey. -- Turn your oven up to 220°C (fan) / 240°C (electric) / Gas 9.

13.40pm -- Put your pigs in blankets onto the top shelf. Move your turkey

down to the middle shelf and check its colour. If it is colouring too much, cover with foil and return it to the oven (middle shelf).

13.50pm -- Empty the gravy into a saucepan and heat gently on the hob until piping hot. Decant Brussels Sprouts into a saucepan with a splash of water and cook over a low heat, stirring occasionally (both gravy and brussels can also be microwaved).

-- Swap shelves of the potatoes and carrots/parsnips.

14.00pm -- Remove everything from the oven (make sure it is all piping hot).
