SURFACE TREATMENT BOEN Protect Ultra: BOEN has always been preoccupied with surface treatment methods as this is an important part of our product. BOEN Protect Lacquer is a very hardwearing lacquer, an “anti scratch lacquer”, which is extremely resistant to surface scratches. The lacquer is hardened with the help of UV-light and does not emit any harmful emissions. BOEN Ecoline: Engineered hardwood treated with factory oiling is available with either a natural, white or dark pigmentation oil which is polished into the wood. Oil gives a somewhat duller surface than lacquer. The oil is a natural product, produced

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS / RANGE OF USES The floors range of use and demands to its “total quality” are crucial in the choice of parquet and method of installation. Should the floor be installed floating or fixed to the sub-floor? In the housing sector a floating floor functions excellently and is the most common method of installation. In the public sector a floating floor is often an unsuitable method of installation. The floor should be attached to the sub-floor by adhesive or nailing/screwing. In respect to gymnasiums, an alternative solution and construction is available (Boen Sport).
