Judge's Comments Some crowd pleasing wines here, the bronze and silver medals showing commendable freshness and balance. Top pointed wines showed greater complexity and yeast derived texture / aroma. A few faults - corks and other microbial issues here. But overall a demonstration that mainland Australia does make great sparkling.

Judge's Comments Nice to see very few faults among this class. Very few herbal notes and good range of fruit. Better wines had lower obvious residual sugar and didn’t show hard and bitter acidity, i.e. balanced. Good ripe flavours without overripe characters.
