ON THE COVER JEWS AND BASEBALL: AN AMERICAN LOVE STORY, narrated by Dustin Hoffman, explores the connection between Jewish Americans and baseball, our nation's most iconic institution. More than a film about sports, it is a story of immigration, assimilation, bigotry, heroism, the passing on of traditions, and the shattering of stereotypes. Interviews include fans, writers, executives, and players - including Al Rosen, Kevin Youkilis, Shawn Green, Bob Feller, Yogi Berra, and Sandy Koufax. Fans Ron Howard and Larry King speak of the meaning of Jewish ballplayers in their own lives, while historians and even two baseball-loving rabbis relate the stories of Jewish players to the turbulent history of the last century. These powerful personal and historical stories are interwoven with an extraordinary collection of rare archival footage and photos, and a musical score ranging from Benny Goodman to Yo-Yo Ma to Rush. Airs Tuesday, March 5 at 7PM and Sunday, March 10 at 5PM

HISTORY/BIOGRAPHY/DOCUMENTARY SOS: SUSTAINING OUR SOCIETY - Follow Dr. Imran Farooq’s journey, as a USC doctoral student, to facilitate neighborhood revitalization in the region where he was born. This inspiring and heartwarming documentary chronicles the families, organizations, challenges and social impact that have shaped this highly acclaimed initiative. Learn how communities are stabilized from foreclosures while incorporating water/ energy efficiency, unemployed military veterans are trained for emerging green technologies and jobs are created during the historic Great Recession. Airs Tuesday, March 19 at 8PM.

Immediately following the broadcast of the documentary, Farooq, along with other panelists, will field questions from callers during a live telecast, SOS: EDUCATION FOR ACTION. Callers will be encouraged to ask questions about their distressed mortgages, and will be directed to contact free HUD-approved counseling agencies and resources for guidance. Callers will also receive information about how to initiate community-based resources to help sustain their local economy and further economic growth and recovery. Airs Tuesday, March 19 at 8:45PM 2

MAKERS: WOMEN WHO MAKE AMERICA - This comprehensive and innovative series tells the compelling story of women's advancement in America over the past 50 years. It is a revolution that has unfolded in public and private, on grand stages like the U.S. Supreme Court and Congress, and humbler ones like the boardroom and the bedroom. The series features the stories of those who led the fight, those who opposed it and those -- both famous and unknown -- caught up in its wake. Meryl Streep narrates the three-hour stack, which features commentary and the stories of Hillary Clinton and Condoleezza Rice, Oprah Winfrey and Katie Couric, and Gloria Steinem and Phyllis Schlafly, among others. Airs Mondays at 7PM beginning March 18

SERVICE: WHEN WOMEN COME MARCHING HOME takes the audience on a journey from the deserts of Afghanistan to rural Tennessee and from Iraq to urban New York City. It shows women functioning as fully accepted and contributing members of a military unit as well as the devastating isolation and persecution of those who report rape. We see these women as veterans fighting to find homes, demanding services, responding to therapy and gaining their independence. Through interviews in their kitchens, bathrooms, even therapy sessions SERVICE reveals the raw truths of our women warriors fighting in the battlefield called "home." Airs Tuesday, March 26 at 8PM MARCH 2013
